I would say very likely but not 100% definite. I am not aware of anyone involved in the production of Skyfall stating that the filming in Istanbul or anywhere else in Turkey is part of the PTS. The Turkish media have been clear in stating that the filming there will be at the start of the film and would be approx fifteen minutes long.

In the picture of Craig with his right hand extended, you can see his middle finger tip is missing- which I believe occurred during filming of CR? or was it QoS...?

In the Turkish TV video provided by Moore than in post #838, it looks as though Craig is reaching into his trouser pocket for a spare magazine to reload his PPK at approximately ;30,:59,and 1:30 esc.(I'm assuming these are all different takes of the scene)
and at 2:15 when a crew member is adjusting the wire(?) for his earpiece, it looks as though Craig is wearing a lback leather shoulder holster as a shoulder strap is visible.
It also looks as though his stunt double is crouching waiting to make the switch to jumping on a motorcycle(maybe).

He really does look like a Bodygaurd. The problem for me is that James Bond should have Bodygaurds as underlings and look a cut above. Don't get me wrong, he should look like he could be a Bodygaurd, and the suit and Aviators work for DC, but Bond needs that extra class that sets him apart. If he were in a room full of them it should be obvious who is in charge.

You misunderstood what I was referring to, Lexi. Perhaps I should have made it clearer? When I stated that Dan looked anything but a bodyguard I was referring to his boat trip with Rachel. In that first pic from Istanbul he really does look like a bodyguard.

I've just heard on an RTE Radio special on the history on the Bond Cars. That the db5 will be
used in Skyfall for normal driving scenes, except for near the end when it becomes involved in
some action. ( I expect this would be the bits filmed st the skyfall Lodge set )
It would be nice to see it Bow out on a high, as I do think Bond should have something more modern.
not pics, but took two screen caps from the video blogs. this Shanghai sequence will most likely be my favorite scene in the film purely for the Blade Runner parallels and that Bond looks like a badass with his beard and black pea coat.
