He's wearing Ryder III's as well, and my Church's contact confirmed to me that Church's are not supplying any footwear for the film. He wears them casually himself, and I've seen him in interview in them often. I don't see a drop of Tom Ford on him at all, especially the jeans....Believe me, I, like many folks here, want to see him in relatively affordable gear that I could see myself buying, TF or not. Although I like the look he's sporting, it's not very Bond, is it?
I know- bummer, eh? The manageress of Church's on Bond Street has supplied and fitted all of DC's shoes for the last 2 films, and she says that they're been kept out of the loop for SKYFALL. Pity...
Its most likely a TF. It will probably be out in the autumn/winter collection. As good as it looks
I am not going to buy it. My Woolrich peacoat is probably the same quality and its made in Seattle
as opposed to Italy where this one is probably made. Support Made in America!!

Wouldn't have thought she'd have supplied the Lobbs he used is CR, would she...?
Fully expect to not care about anything on screen from this film. Would have to settle for budget alternatives anyways. Craig's personal casual style during promotions seems to be more in tune to my interests.

I am actually interested to see what's going to be in the movie, my problem is that so far, I don't really like it..
If you can't trust a Swiss banker, what's the world come to?
That's a standard Dainite sole that many English shoe companies use. Chruch's Ryder III has the same exact sole. But based on the uppers it's very likely that the boots are Crockett & Jones, though the Church's Carlisle R is very similar. But at least on the Church's website that shoe only has a leather sole. And I'd be happy about that since Crockett & Jones' shoes are more elegant and better made than Church's.
Craig is a big fan of the C&J Tetbury. He's been wearing them for years off screen, both in black leather and brown suede. But, as we know, the ones in Skyfall, may be a TF copy.
It definitely fits his style. Tom Ford sells a lot of classic-style shoes, though his are made in Italy. He also prefers a taller heel. With all his English-influenced suits I could see him switching to an English manufacturer. I don't think Tom Ford would rebrand C&J because it's not the best shoe out there. It's one of the best but not the best. I saw Tom Ford speak last week and he talked about only being interested in the best of everything. Edward Green would be more likely for him to rebrand. But he could have C&J make shoes for him to higher specs than usual. Brooks Brothers has shoes made by C&J to a level in between their benchgrade and handgrade shoes.
If the C&J shoe isn't the one, it's will be good alternative. We will have no proof until we are officially told, so it's premature to confirm it.
I have heard that the shoes are actually Tom Ford, after they took apart the 'chosen' brand and model and had their own version made.
I guess we can expect to see them available for 3 times the C&J price soon.
(An onset source)
Whilst this might be true, and I believe it to be, does it matter? C&J are as good if not better and an appropriate price.
If Tom Ford decided to copy C&J, they will be better shoes. Tom Ford only believes in “the best stitching, the best fabric, the best quality" as I heard him say last week. C&J is one of the best, but Tom Ford would make it better. I'd hope his shoes wouldn't be gemmed, but I'm not sure if any Goodyear-welted shoes sold OTR aren't.
I don't think it's a positive identification until something is announced officially to confirm it - or we get high enough resolution images of the sole of Craig's boots with the C&J text on the sole.
My personal opinion is that he IS wearing C&J Tetbury ankle boots but unfortunately we will have to wait and see...

How do you know that? Often the press conferences are done in film clothing.
