Skyfall you think will have a new gunbarrel, which will be the same as quantum or you will not have? :s

    I think they might do a new one. IMHO Craig's walk seemed to be very quick in the QOS gunbarrel.

    The reason I said it would be the same one as in QoS as it is very rare for them to remake a gun barrel for an established Bond. I know it was remade for Connery and Moore and the PTS in Casino Royale was something a little bit different to kick start the reboot. Plus there is the added consideration of cost. How much does it actually cost in both financial means and terms of time. That money/time is better invested into the storly line as opposed to a ten second opening shot. Just my two pennies worth.

    I think that because other traditional Bond elements seem to be returning.... Q and maybe Moneypenny (it's been rumoured that Naomie Harris' character Eve is Moneypenny under cover) that perhaps they will return to the more old-style Gun barrel.... however as one has already been produced and used... it will be interesting to see if they decide to re-do it.... or if it's even on their radar that it needs re-visiting! ;)

    I want a new one or a clever Casino Royale-style alternate one. Either way, it has to be at the beginning. I'd prefer a classic style one most.

    If this guy can play with the existing walk to make something like this, then it can't be too difficult for a production company...

    It's whether or not the powers that be even realise that the one used already, is not enough..... I mean the box has been ticked - not quite well enough admittedly - but ticked none the less. ;)

    I have been a 007 fan all of my life. At 48 now, I believe that I join most of our baby-booming Bond fans in wanting to keep certain traditions alive. This is why we collect items and artifacts from our favourite films- to try and rekindle an era.
    Hopefully EON will realize that Bond people are of a demographic that spends a great deal of money on collectibles, movie tickets, events, etc. It is precisely this audience which provides a constant stream of revenue for the Bond franchise, and it trickles up to EON.
    Therefore, IMHO, they should do as Bond fans have asked for years- return to a traditional Bond film with all the elements: Q, Moneypenney, gratuitous sex, and...the gunbarrel. And for heaven's sake, SLOW DOWN Danny...you have a date or something?

    The iconic gun-barrel scene - Oh, how I miss it. I like the QoS gun-barrel scene (although placed at the end) - Bond not in a Tux but "suited" the rebooted Bond. The QoS one was quick but it gives off a sense of urgency. I like that.

    I didn't totally mind the speed, but something else about it felt off. Maybe it was just since it was at the end or something.

    I too like the sence of urgency and movement in his walk, looked like he had a sence of urgency because his bowels where about to make a movement of their own. :))
