Still he's done a fair bit hasn't he, dating back to Gladiator?

Hugo has a 93% "Fresh" rating (138 out of 148 reviews are positive-leaning) at RottenTomatoes. . .not sure which critics you're paying attention to!

Hardyboy is right on. I am not really interested in seeing it, but the vast majority of the major reviews are positive.

While most of the Hugo reviews are positive, a great deal of them aren't exactly gushing.

When you look at how many turkeys a lot of previous Bond screenwriters have served up, Logan's credentials are pretty good.

Well, yeah. It isn't not being touted as a cinema landmark. But it doesn't have to be called that to still be a good and positive film.
