2012 has Skyfall, The Dark Knight Rises, and The Amazing Spider-Man...

I don't know about you, but I'm going to see all three of these movies because I just like Batman, Spider-Man and James Bond THAT much....I know in 2008 I missed out on Quantum of Solace, but to be perfectly honest that film just wasn't what anybody expected after Casino Royale and I think it has a lot to do with the director Marc Forster, because Forster just did not have a similar directing style to Martin Campbell and I think that's why Quantum just wasn't as good as the reboot film.

It's gotta be better than what Sam Raimi did with Spider-Man 3 and what he ultimately WAS going to do to Spider-Man 4, had he made it into a fully three-dimensional film....I hear Raimi wanted to use the Vulture and Felicia Hardy was going to be the Vulturess instead of the Black Cat so I'm glad we got a Spider-Man reboot instead!

I don't have high hopes for the Batman movie. And I'm not a huge fan of the POV segment in the Spider-Man reboot. For me, the best for this year is gonna be Skyfall and Prometheus.

Quantum of Solace was hurt by the writer's strike. As a result, I don't think one has to bee too optimistic to assume that Skyfall will have a vastly better plot.

Well, it's indie films like Clooney's The Descendants that look interesting to me. Dark Knight Rises just looks too harrowing for me really, and I feel my age with the Spidey reboot.
