What happened to your case?

I have had many SD studios wrsit dart guns and have never seen that case. The normal case has a 007 etched glass lid and combination lock. The last versions came with a wooden plaque similar to the Golden Gun one. Could yours be a custom job, also the cassette case is grey and all the SD versions I have had the case was clear. There could be some variations but I have not seen them.

I have had many different wrist guns and the best ones IMO are the UK ones from Russell, he made them about 5 years ago. the shape is more pleasing and more importantly he used vintage NOS Seiko wristbands exactly the same as the original.

I saw this wrist gun on Ebay with a starting price of £250 which was a good punt at that

Well the dart gun in the pic ain't mine, but mine is identical to it, so assumed that they came in a case of some kind, either the clear fronted ones or a solid wooden one like the one in the pic above.

Must admit I'd want it in the case to be fair. Good luck with the sale though, still a great item

The cassette case is grey is because its supposed to be more screen accurate as that was what was seen in the Q scene. The wooden case is its actual case it came in again more SA to the original prop.

That's MY case. I made it and the cassette to be SA to the one in the film.
Steve only sold the wrist dartgun in the large wooden case with the frosted 007 etched on the glass. In later years (and occasionally when he "finds" yet another one that "fell behind the cushions") I have seen them sold just as you see above.

Apologies ed on using your pic, I have images of mine on imageshack which wont give me the direct link cos I'm on the iPhone, and safari just lurves the mobile (useless crap) sites 8-) so I had to resort to using someone else's pic.

Mines identical and possibly one of the 'magically found' ones made long after the SD licence disappeared. It MUST be old stock of course lol.
