Hi fellow JB lovers, including the godfather of soul; of course..!
I need help desperately for my university project. I recall the most awesome sequence in a certain 007 movie; possibly late 60's, where a missile is either launched, or is on a collision course with something. John Barry composed a theme for the sequence which was very fitting. I would like to reference this sequence for my uni project but can't remember which film it was.
Please help & big thanks in advance!

Sounds like you are talking about "You only live twice from 1967" Space capsules are hijacked by other space capsules and Barry was the composer
There could also be a few other choices
Secondary options would be
Dr No 1962 ( Jamming Cape rocket launches Monty Norman score )
Thunderball( unlikely, but nuclear bombs were stolen and Barry scored it ) 1965
Diamonds are forever 1971 ( great Barry score and launching a missle with a laser in space )
The spy who loved me 1977 ( two rockets blowing each other up Marvin Hamlisch composed the score in this one )
Hope this helps you
My money would be on " You only live twice " from 1967 though
Welcome aboard B-)
After listing all that Moonraker doesn't seem like such a stretch anymore ( Bond in space 1979 Barry score ) )
Xelcior, would you be a Stan Lee fan as well ? -{
-Casino Royale, Ian Fleming
I assume hes talking about the beginning when the capsule is being taken.
Mission completed successfully. Martini's all round. Shaken, not stirred )
