You might like 'carrot fit' as the shape is more generous on the seat & thighs but tapers down from the knee.
Therefore giving a nice shape over the shoe/boot but not strangling your legs.
I have size 12 feet (US 13) so I sort of get paranoid wearing narrow jeans especially around the ankles!! My missus says I have clown feet hence I used to always buy bootcut so my feet didn't look too big! Only the last few years I have been buying straight leg jeans!!
I think if he was wearing say a casual T-Shirt or something then he would look OK! The shirt and tie didn't really go
You and I would agree on that. But DC or his stylist obviously don't.
But it does seem rather an odd way for a guy of Craig's age (plus the additional years that bely his 43!) to dress like this, or be prompted to do so by a professional stylist.
Though I'd be the first to confess I know nothing about fashion or trends therein.

Where I live near West London that's a pretty normal look for guys of his age bracket.

A quick search shows that they weren't even found there when the mag was released.
Here's the largest pic I found of the cover. Seem to be a plain toed blucher.
Very nice!

If you are going to copy DC's look shouldn't you have turned up jeans?

Stop making a monkey of yourself
Ah I ape what you mean now :v
I presume the evening wear is by Tom Ford?
How did that even get started? I don't remember who the supposed source was that said Craig wore Tobacco Vanille...
Hope that was true.
The chimp is in the know

Since they were so cheap on flea bay I picked up a pair to wear down the pub, I will report back with my mates comments/pisstakes!!
You know how it is, my mates who has a cousin was told by his aunties father etc etc )
Suppose its highly poss since DC seems to worship everything Tom Ford. Its certainly the most sought after TF Fragrance if eBay is anything to go by!!
Yeah, got a pair on the way from the USofA.
But I'll be wearing 'em with a T shirt and jeans, casually down the pub like you, and not an overcoat, jumper, shirt and tie.

Cynic in me wonders how much stuff Craig actually has to pay for himself these days...
