"He was incredibly nervous and gave the single worst audition I have even seen, but it was the way he walked in to the room it demanded your attention". Steven Speilberg on the casting Daniel for road to perdition (story told by Speilberg before Daniel collected his best actor in an action movie award on the Broadcast Film Critics Association Awards 2013)
Kris Jenner has told Kanye West she does not want him to write a theme song for the new James Bond film because the movie's star Daniel Craig called her family "f**king idiots" in an interview in 2011
Kanye West forbidden from writing Bond theme by Kris Jenner
Kris Jenner has forbid Kanye West from writing a James Bond theme song.
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star - whose daughter Kim Kardashian-West is married to the rapper and has a 13-month-old daughter, North, with him - is said to be furious with the 'Stronger' hitmaker after he secretly expressed interest in pitching a track to be used for the next instalment in the spy franchise.
The 58-year-old showbiz matriarch still holds a grudge against current 007, Daniel Craig, after he referred to her family as ''f**king idiots'' in an interview back in 2011 and has forbidden Kanye from having any involvement with the actor or the much-anticipated 23rd Bond movie unless Daniel, 46, apologises for his comments first.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: ''Kris isn't budging but Kanye is still desperate to do it.
''Kim isn't taking sides but is privately hoping he doesn't end up recording the theme.''
Luckily for Kris, Bond bosses are said to be eyeing up Adele to record a follow-up to the Oscar-winning theme 'Skyfall' which she penned for the 2012 picture of the same name.
Although bosses will consider Kanye and several other artists if she declines the offer.
The source explained: ''Kanye would do an amazing job but if Adele wants the gig its hers.''
I'm having Tea with the other Half's Parents on Saturday. Met them a few Times before, but this one will be like a proper 'Meeting' if you want to call it that ) Her Mum is warming and has that Norwegian kindness to her. Whilst her Dad is the complete Opposite. Incredibly straight Laced and seems to have a Problem with me, well he can think what he wants to 8-) -{

Bond theme.

I don't think it's necessarily out of the question. There are several very talented rap artists, including Kanye West, who I think could do a tremendous job if the producers decided a rap song would be appropriate for the film. But personally I don't see a rap song fitting the Bond ambiance. Of course, I never thought I'd like a Madonna Bond theme either, but I'm rather fond of the Die Another Day theme. However, that one is already starting to sound dated, and I suspect a rap song wouldn't age very well either.
For me you can't go wrong with a ballad sung by whaterever
Artist, who has a good track record of "staying power " in the
Business. Like Elton John, Stevie Wonder or Cher. )

It could work but they would have to be very careful. Two songs that spring to mind straight away would be 'Empire State of Mind ' with Jay-Z and Alicia Keyes and 'Gangsta's Paradise' with Coolio and L.V ...
As for rap songs ageing , 'Gangsta's Paradise' was released in 1995 and still sounds great today.

Empire State of Mind is a good example. I also think the haunting quality of Kanye West's Flashing Lights gives an indication of what might be possible for a Bond theme.
