    Dave,

How do you like the length on the "Setter"? Are they really short? I'm thinking about going in on the "Bulldog" as they may be more fitting to my comfort zone.

The "Bulldog" is on eBay for $115 but only in size 36.

Although the setter is listed as the "shorter" short, the length really isn't too revealing. You can check the measurements of each size on the site (although it will rise higher on the thigh as you bend). I believe mine end around half way between inseam and knee. And these aren't thigh huggers either so the shorter lengths aren't as noticeable.

Should be true to size going by what Mantis said.

32" is exactly 32". They sit low on, as they are quite low rise, maybe 10". About 14" long overall, so kind of boxer short length.

    Nice swim shorts. -{

As to the lights at the end of the pool 8-)

Strikes me that no one can be bothered to notice bond is wearing a watch..... ?:)

Yup. I am on the fence with this one, I reckon Orlebar don't know either hence not officially confirming

Erm, before you trash DZ and Browns and its customers....

Ford has long since had trunks in this style in his range. Those revealed on Bond Lifestyle are, however, brown in colour...

I think we must wait till the movie comes out, there's no other way to verify this (unless there will be released another photo from the pool).

My money is (literally) still on OB. TF was the first place I looked as I was aware of their side tabs on swim trunks but never seen any in this coloir and there are other tells on the unofficial photo

Maybe TF is going to release these trunks in this colour branded as the James Bond edition? ^^

I hope your right, however I'm a little pessimistic after the Oliver Peoples Airman example. DC personally chose them, wore them personally and then once shooting came around and confirmed to be a screen used item, Tom Ford remakes them and chucks his name on them. Wouldn't also surprise me if Sunspel Polo was originally considered to return with DC for Quantum but Tom Ford advised he can make it etc

It also really wouldn't surprise me if they did indeed pick up the Orlebars to use in the film and Tom Ford uses them as reference and copies / replaces them with his version since he is the man officially dressing 007

I hope it is Orlebar - would be great to get back to some more variation back along the clothes - Casino Royale had the perfect balance and had some good affordable stuff!!

Also seems TF is more prepared this time, I don't think we will have such a hard time getting ties and what not. Maybe the TF108 sales exceeded his expectations!! Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the QoS ties etc stock items that were already on sale before the film etc. I have a feeling we will have more of a 007 launch this time

I think it was indeed tossed around that Sunspel inspired the QoS polo. It wouldn't be beyond Tom Ford to remake the Orlebars for his own line as he did with the OP Airman sunglasses. I am sure some people in his design house pull some strings so that they seize opportunities like this to spread the name around.

I think Tom Ford is a great designer, but I also still prefer the mix of sources that made the Casino Royale wardrobe.

I still think they are OB...have you "liked" their FB page? Lot's of little conversations there with the owners...

Good to know. Perhaps Tom Ford will release a version anyways, or maybe skip that look altogether. I've had a look at their page, but couldn't find the posts.

I was looking for a swim-short for the summer when I get this:

    http://www.dtlux.com/estilo/complementos/galeria/shorts-o-banadores-calvin-klein-swimwear/?th=1&pg=0

It was made by Calvin Klein in 2010 and it is very similar to Orlebar Brown swim of Sakyfall.

I'm looking for in Outlets an Factorys but it's impossible to get one of this.

If anyone gets one please tell me where can I buy it.

    Thanks

    Not a bad alternative!

Not bad but in my experience once something in fashion is discontinued its very unlikely you will ever find in (especially in the right size)
