Mr. Mason advised me that he travels to NY regularly. I plan to meet him during his next visit, probably next week, for a fitting for a special order suit and perhaps a shirt. Will post more info after i meet with him.
So, what sharp little eyes you've got...wait till you get to my teeth.

Yeah I did miss it. I've only been checking here occasionally and even then only going to certain areas. Trying to avoid everything Skyfall related and doing a good job so far.
Well a few months ago I visited David Mason and ordered the Conduit Cut suit using the glen plaid design that was also used for the Bond suit at the Barbican exhibition, well here are the fantastic results, enjoy :
Very nice! Thanks for sharing. Would love to see you in it.

Glad you enjoyed the pics - will get a pic when I next wear it (although I am very camera shy!)
Welshie - this was the special order version which was around £950 for the full three piece. David was really great in getting the fabric and measurements correct.
I cannot recommend enough about David's attention to detail in the suit and customer service, and if you want to invest in a suit then this is the one!
Great stuff and info!! I'm in London for a flying visit next month and tempted!
How many times did you need to visit etc for measuring up??? How long was the entire process??
Cheers
Hey mate,
Glad to help, I had one fitting where we discussed about the suit style, design, and fabric - I would say before visiting e-mail David in advance to arrange an appointment for a fitting. The whole fitting took about 20 mins, on average it takes about 6-8 weeks for the suit to be made, although there was a slight delay due to David's commitment to the Designing Bond exhibition.
Once the suit was finished it was ready to wear, and David did say to wear it a few times and if there are any adjustments to come back and see him.
Hope this helps? Drop me a line if you want any further info, but I will reiterate DG's comments that David is aware of our requirements for the suit.
Very nice suit, though I see you made a few modifications from the actual suit. I like your choice of hacking pockets over Connery's straight pockets. I'd love to see a picture of the suit on you. Pictures of a suit made for you are worthless without seeing how it look on you.
David Mason is a wonderful man and through bespoke they can make you a very accurate suit. The Special Order suit will give you a more modern cut which is a bit more Savile Row-esque than what Sinclair himself used to make.

Would love to order a off the rack version however wouldn't be able to attend the 2 fittings due to my location
Sure. One of my stated intentions.
Unfortunately, it'll be a while until my bank account's likely to be replenished after SKYFALL has raided it to death.
Yup they are available right now via Mail Order on Sinclairs website!
