American Bond girls = Bad Bond movie?

I read jetsetwilly's thread about french Bond girls and I have a similar theory. The worst Bond movies all have Americans as the main Bond girl: DAF, MR, AVTAK, DAD. No offense to American girls, I am American. Granted its all probably a coincidence, since the choice of Bond girls in these movies are the least of it's problems. But still interesting.

haha that's an amusing theory. Not forgetting Christmas Jones (I refuse to say Doctor), even though I like TWINE, she's pretty awful. It seems like Pam is the only one holding up the house for the American girls right now lol.

I've noticed that trend as well, though like Sir Hugo, I am rather fond of TWINE. I just sort of ignore the presence of Denise Richards. I think a more accurate statement might be that American women make poor Bond girls. Another example would be Terri Hatcher in TND. The movie was OK; she was awful.
