Does anyone know the make and model or where this style can be found?

    Probably M&S or Greenwoods.

    I think Dalton's kit was pretty much off the peg.

    ...and it should have stayed that way! The idea that civil servants in the 21st century wear bespoke clothes is ridiculous - especially in Cameron's England of austerity measures. Luckily for the film makers though, no matter what clothes they get, they will always look like they were bought in a department store when Craig wears them.

    The jacket and trousera were Ralph Lauren. The shirt was Katherine Hamnett

    Has anyone ever found one? Maybe the better question is has anyone ever been interested enough to look for one.

    I owned the jacket..bought it from Marcus Price in Newcastle in about 89-90. That's how I know the make. They had the trousers in stock but I'd just started a new job and bought a new car.

    that's great info, alexeberlin. Thanks a lot.

    You don't happen to know, which brand the dark leather jacket was in the Bratislawa (which have been filmed in Austria) scenes?

    Markus that was a Kenzo or Valentino -{

    Copy/paste

    “A three-quarter length black leather jacket with concealed zip and button fastening, with black ‘art’ silk lining, labelled inside Kenzo, white tape label to inside pocket inscribed in black ballpoint pen T DALTON — purchased for Timothy Dalton as James Bond in the 1987 United Artists/Eon film The Living Daylights; accompanied by a colour reproduction of a corresponding still and a letter concerning the provenance from the film’s Wardrobe Supervisor, Tiny Nicholls.”

    The coat was made by Valentino and extremely expensive, even by decadent 1980's standards.

    I've been told the jacket was Kenzo but have no experience. As ics points out Matt's blog lists the jacket as Kenzo too. I think the person who told me had the same auction listing.

    I remember in the 90s, I have been chasing very badly that jacket - without any success.

    yes that leather jacket was my holy grail at the time..I was working in New York but had no idea of the designer. I was devoted to tracking down the TLD wardrobe around that time. Located a fair bit but no clue as to the leather until much too late.
