    Well I've seen wood hangers before...

    It's too expensive. You could go to a store and buy their cheapest shirt when they do sales for that price, and the wood hanger will be free. And you'll have the shirt.

    In one of my first jobs I had to sort out and tidy up bins of hangers. (Clothes shop, stock room controller.) Hundreds of the damned plastic things. - All of them combined would not come to the value of that starting price!

    I must admit I've bought crazy designer priced stuff and felt like a muppet however if that sells the buyer is off his rocker! :))
