Should also point out, on a nice day it's a nice short walk north of St Paul's and St Paul's Tube, with iconic architecture like Millennium Bridge and Tate Modern and so on. So no real need to head to Barbican Tube, which is a bit out of the way for some, St Paul's is on the Central Line.
And it's in Barbican Centre, where the library is, not the Exhibition parts.
How long is it on for... and do you have to get tickets? If so, on-line, or on the door?
Hi Alex, its running from Friday 6th July through to September. Booking is advisable however there is a ticket desk next to the gun barrel entrance. www.barbican.org.uk/bond/
Here is a five minute slideshow from the BBC featuring commentary by Lindy Hemming, numerous photo's from the exhibition, plus photo's and music from the films.
And also, from Donk on the Memorabilia section, in fact the pics are so good it should have spoilers attached, as it does take away the surprise!

If an attendee here decides to violate the no photography rule, can you please snap a couple of close-up shots (at least from the side and front angles) of the ski boots from On Her Majesty's Secret Service?

Ive just got my tickets. Going on 24th July & can't wait. Feel like a kid just before xmas (and proud of it !!)
My other half took me yesterday as a present for my birthday. I wasn't blown away by it, only real highlight was seeing Lindy Hemming , took me a minute to realise who she was but by then she had disappeared and an autograph opportunity had gone.
Just got back from the exhibition and really enjoyed it.
My favourite bit was the Casino Room with the costumes. Still loving Tracy's wedding dress and it was great to see Pam's cocktail dress with the zip.
All the main gadgets are there. Oddjobs hat, Golden gun etc ..
One thing that surprised me, and I dont want to drag up old moans, was te size of Daniels Craigs tux compared to the other Bonds. He really is a very different shape and size to the others, with little legs.
I did notice one error though, Kara's chello is not called 'Mary-Rose' :v
Anyway, it was a pleasant day out and worth the trip on the underground ...

Sorry Sups, I failed in my mission.
There was a staff member standing right next to the ski boots and my
surreptitious attempts to take photos failed miserably )

Lady Rose, thank you for the valiant effort despite the presence of those nasty guards. I need to get you a pinhole camera disquised as a broach!
NP – LOL, good thing we didn’t feed the piranhas today. :v

MI6 has posted an article on the special screening of The Spy Who Loved Me. Sir Ken Adam made a surprise appearance and chatted with David Walliams for fifteen minutes ahead of the screening. He appeared in good health was incredibly modest and thankful to the cheers and applause he received. Another surprise was a funny welcome message from Roger Moore that was pre-recorded.
