was it just me who flicked through the pages hoping to find some blue tinted x-ray TWINE glasses?
used to have a pair similar to them years back but they got either lost or accidentaly chucked. anyone seen anything like them recently?
(ps, sorry for crashing the thread)
I have looked for these also and would love to hear about any alternatives on the market. Would I be correct in thinking no one ever identified the brand of the ones used on screen?

I bought the ones from the Movie Shop. They are a great everyday pair but aren't an exact copy. I will try to post up a side by side comparison later. I did want to order the ones from Kohls but they don't ship internationally.
Martin Aston, where are you? I am in Italy, but have a US address that I can ship to you from via an Italian friend, if you'd like to provide a comparison of the Tom Ford, Movie Shop AND Kohl's sunglasses.
Please hurry, though, as I transfer to the U.S. beginning next month.
Martin, did you get the silver sunglasses from the Movie Shop? I'm wondering how the gold pair would look with a pair of Levis' 501 Shrink-to-Fit jeans in Sand Rigid. Just tried a pair on, and may buy a pair as another stand-by for the Sta-Prest 306 in Sandpit, since any stop in Japan would yield unsuccessful as the 306 is not available there, either.
jz007 yes that's where I got them from. I might be tempted to get a pair of the gold once it's been confirmed what those Sunglasses DC has been wearing. A part of me still thinks that he's only wearing them between takes and that they are Rayban not TF.
If anyone in the US wants a pair of the Movieshop Quantum glasses, I have an extra pair that I will sell for $30 shipped anywhere in the US. They are in like-new condition with the carrying bag.
I tried them on yesterday at Kohls. I agree that they were too transparent. Also didn't care for the blue arm ends. Didn't buy them. The movie shop ones seem like they may be better quality. I'm gonna hold off for now.
Anyone able to compare the Movie Shop, TF, and Kohls yet? Or any combo of two pairs together at least?

Wow, great find!
Well done that man! {[]
Well they ain't perfect and closer inspection shows the lenses to be mirrored, not transparent.
The frames are decent though, I guess die Garda could try getting replacement lenses.
The search continues perhaps but I need some new shades so think I might go for a pair of these.

Here they are. From Kohl's.
More transparent than I'd like. "100% UV protection"
Blue-ish. The poor lighting doesn't do the blues of the lenses justice, either.

Better camera. Better lighting.
