A Danish film magazine has visited the set. But this time it is Adana, Turkey, not Pinewood. Ola Rapace reveals that his character Patrice is a man of few words who loves violence. Naomie Harris refers to her character, "I like the fact that Eve is such a strong peasant-woman."........Yes, the translation is not the best.
There is also a detailed description of a stunt scene.
I'm all for a bit of humor now and then, but PLEASE don't overdo it! (Yes, I'm looking at you, Roger!) Keep it on the Connery level (pre-DAF) and we're good.
A detailed article from comingsoon.net on their set visit to Pinewood. There are descriptions of the sets and locations plus interviews with Daniel Craig, Barbara Broccoli and Javier Bardem.
Here is another detailed article, this one from IGN on their set visit to Pinewood. It's pretty much on the same lines as comingsoon.net (above) but also contains comment from Judi Dench and Berenice Marlohe.
A detailed on set interview with Judi Dench from comingsoon.net. Amongst other things, she is asked to comment on the long gap after Quantum of Solace, the relationship between M and Bond in Skyfall, the benefits of being a female M, and the differences and likenesses of Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig as Bonds.

Very cool; thanks! I love Dame Judi...but in a way it'll be a relief when there's another M, and perhaps he can just send 007 on his missions again. Looks like we're getting an extra dose of the lady this time round. I don't mind terribly, as long as it's a good story.

My only major concern (apart from the dull leading ladies) is that with so many high quality actors in the cast will we get enough Bond? Really hope that this does not turn out to be a Judi Dench movie with James Bond in it. Good as she is I can't wait for her to get out of the way.
Zap - How can you tell if the leading ladies are "dull" if the film hasn't come out yet??? You haven't seen how they handle their roles, so are you just basing your opinion on the fact that apparently you don't find these women to be particularly attractive? (And for the record - they look quite fine to me!) Just asking.

A purely superficial reaction on my part I'm afraid. Also find that Bernice is very much in the Olga whatshername and Eva Green type mould, dark hair, olive skin...I would have liked a greater change towards old school glamour. basically wanted Christina Hendricks or similar.
Fed up with Tom- boys.
I'm not sure where you're from Zap old boy, but if Olga Kurylenko and Eva Green are considered to be "Tom-boys" in that part of the world, then I'm booking my flight NOW!

Here is an article from The Washington Post on their visit to the Pinewood set. The emphasis in the first part is on the humour. "I'm so camp in this one, I've gone quite far," says Craig.
A detailed video from Steven liebt Kino! on the set at Pinewood. It's mainly in German with interviews in English. Interviews with Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem, Berenice Marlohe, Chris Corbould, Dennis Grassner and Jany Termine. Also features talk and clips of other films.

Sounds very intriguing...more about humour in this one---and it's the first I've heard of Adele possibly doing the theme, which would be a VERY good fit, IMO :007)

I
Ok perhaps Tom boy is a bit harsh for Eva Green. The point that I really wanted to make was that if you take the last two movies the ladies including Solange (who was glamorous BTW) conform to a particular type and I was hoping for someone a bit different, maybe a Blond or Redhead (please no body bother to point out ' blink and you'll miss her Fields' as that was to my mind no more than a Cameo)
According to MI6, Daniel Craig will play James Bond for at least two more films. No source is provided for this "news". Craig stated recently in an interview with the BBC that he would stay on as long as he was asked to, so this could be true.

According the article, Bond 24 would be released in late fall 2014 which falls in with the every two years for a Bond film that has been previously reported.
Never believe rubbish like this. It's always based on a fantasy, best case scenario world. Take JB films one at a time. Accept them when they're release date is confirmed, starring the actor who's in it. Nowt more.
I hope DC stays around cos what i've seen so far has been nothing short of impressive. Even with QoS's terrible script problems he still managed to pull it off, and CR was simply stunning film making.
My only concern is DC's aging appearance. Now don't get me wrong, I a huge fan of the guy and I've got a load of respect for him, but I can't really argue that he's looking quite a bit erm..... whats a polite word for 'older'? sod it, there isn't one, so in that case, he's looking markedly more aged since his debut appearance on that boat with the marines.
looking old aint a bad thing, but we've all heard of the comments made about RM towards the end of his stint.

That certainly could be a valid concern, but we can only judge by what we actually will see on the screen when "Skyfall" is released.
So far, IMO, he looks pretty good in the trailers.
Ironically, if EON does stick to this every two years cycle, Craig would be 48 when what presumably would be his last bond film is released, only 2 years older than Roger Moore was when he did his first Bond film.
Seems to me, Craig only ages from the neck up. I guess it would be easier to fix the face with make-up and lighting than hide man boobs

Craig certainly possesses a 'lived in' face. Some might even say 'squatted in'. )
But so would you if you lived life in the fast lane as 007 constantly does.

I always thought Five was the perfect number of films for an Actor to do.
If they managed to get them in every two years. It would give each actor a Decade
to perfect their "Take" on Bond.
