will be very interesting if we get any Thomas Newman score indications in the trailer. He is one of the great movie composers and cant wait to hear his take.

The trailer will not be scored by Newman, who is unlikely to have started any work on the film as of yet.
The first public screening of the Skyfall teaser trailer will be in Cannes on Monday night. The screening will be attended by Berenice Marlohe. Martine Beswick will also be present to introduce a special screening of From Russia With Love immediately afterwards.
Wow, it was definitely worth the wait. That was just absolutely amazing. And the best part, there is a scene where Bond shaves! Just kidding, but seriously there is a lot of awesome stuff to talk about in that trailer, but for now i'm just going to watch it a couple more times.
Loving the look of this so far. It seems quite dark in tone but very stylish. They've avoided the all out James Bond theme for the soundtrack to this and it works, I quite like the 'twisted' synth stuff toward the end. Hadn't seen David Suchet's name on the cast list either, but that is definitely him isn't it?
Yeah the music sounds very interesting - glad it wasn't just a re-hash of the Casino Royale soundtrack like the Quantum Trailer was. It seems to be something very individual.
Haven't been following the plot thread at all... so it looks intriguing, dark, and very stylish.
Neither have I, and I'm glad I haven't as I can't wait to find out more now either. I haven't been this excited for a Bond film in a long time, and I think that's because I was too involved in the spoilers!
Thanks for clearing up the interrogation actor, glad someone else thinks it looks a lot like him and I'm not being a dolt!
A very impressive teaser trailer, some lovely visuals. Not too many quick cuts so it's not that difficult to follow, but questions remain. Such as, is that Bond pointing the gun at the man slumped in the chair, and who is that man? (0:29). Who is the falling body? (0:56). And is that Raoul Silva walking away from the burning building? (1:03). My appetite has definitely been whetted.

Well I thought this SKYFALL teaser trailer was very interesting. Looks like its going to be psychological this time. Too bad the PH.D was not Sean Connery. That is Javier Bardem stumbling away from the estate on fire. I can't wait to see it November 9.
P.S. They showed Judi Dench staring at the honored coffins.
I think the trailer is very good!
But I have three problems with it:
1) Wouldn't Bond, who is half Scotish, say "Britain" when asked about country?
2) Shouldn't we at least hear a few seconds of the Bond theme? Play to your strenghts ...
3) I miss a relly BIG scene. A huge l set or location, a spectacular stunt -
or a spectacular stunt in a huge set! The train is fine, but I want to see something even better!
Don't get me wrong. I think the trailer is great and I'm really looking forward to seing it in the cinema.
Love the look of it however prob due to all the leaks I wasn't floored as much as I thought I would be, mainly since a lot of the shots I've already sort of seen!!
By the looks of it, he gets jiggy with Naomi.
I see somebody falls down what looks like some kind of shaft, I hope thats not too over the top. The one thing I hate about QoS is that stupid fight with all the ropes, something out of a ninja film.
I liked the music, sort of a sampled chopped up bit of the Bond theme I detected there.
Damn how long to go?? This is going to be a long year lol
That was an awesome trailer! but i would have liked if they blasted the bond theme, they probably will in the theatrical trailer.
Yeah, I think the trailer was two short and choppy for the full theme and also out of place amongst all those dark clips, was that the theme sampled and chopped up that I heard?
1) Wouldn't Bond, who is half Scotish, say "Britain" when asked about country?
This jarred slightly when I first read about the preview in Las Vegas. However...
1) Personally I dislike the term "Britain" as a reference to nation, it seems quite a flippant way to refer to the entity which Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland make up, which is the United Kingdom. Britain, UK, United Kingdom would probably all sound a little odd in a word play like that.
2) England is a country. As is Scotland, and Wales. They are non-sovereign constituent countries, granted, but countries nonetheless.
3) We don't know in what context he is saying it.
4) It's not as jarring when that hypocritical old nationalist *** says "The things I do for England" in Thunderball.
I think people worried about the "budget cuts" etc have little to be worried about, it looks stunning visually, especially the Shanghai bits, I guess we will never know he wasn't there!!

Roll on October. I'm very excited now.
I love the music, almost like a countdown... to something epic.

Can't wait to see more -{
Very classy...though think l will take the boat today and not the tube!
-Casino Royale, Ian Fleming
Yes, he played Posca in HBO's masterpiece 'Rome', a very good actor and I'm glad to see he's in Skyfall.
Thanks for clearing up the interrogation actor, glad someone else thinks it looks a lot like him and I'm not being a dolt!
BUT: I liked he Quantum trailer even more and we all know how it ended
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
