Little Nellie

On the above link, Bond is there and in white garb, but others show the vehicle empy or have him with a blue shirt. What gives, is the above the director's cut box? What is a reasonable price would you say?

Corgi produced two versions of Little Nellie, the one with the figure is the Director's Cut version. The empty seat version is the first run version which I own. As for the the blue shirt I am guessing that it might be a photo of an ealier in development model.

The Little Nellie with the blue figure is the smaller, cheap 3-inch model (TY95101). The larger model was produced first for the Definitive Bond Collection without a figure (04601), and then for the Director's Cut range with the figure wearing a beige shirt.

The blue box is the latest box version, the models are the same as in the earlier Director's Cut boxes although the range is no longer identified as such on the newer boxes. But the item numbers (for Little Nellie CC04602) did not change.

Reasonable price? £10 is a good price, you may get it on Ebay for even less than that if you don't care for a specific box design. MSRP was £13.99, and if they are re-released this year in a new 50th-anniversary box the MSRP will probably rise to £15.99.

Question out there for anyone who has the most current Little Nellie model, the version for the YOLT 50th Anniversary, model number CC04603 (?) Someone from a collectibles forum I’m on, Sideshow Collectors posted that it’s much larger than the earlier versions; can anyone confirm this? The “1/24th” scale version is the Airfix kit, but supposedly the most recent Corgi Little Nellie is even larger than 1/24th scale?! Here’s the post:

There are several Corgi Little Nellies out there. You can get one with Bond in the cockpit, one without, and there is a slightly larger one that came out for the anniversary. It's the same as the 1/24 one really, just slightly larger, somewhere around 1/16 I think.
