James Bond Watch collectors? Just picked up one, how'd I do?

Hey guys, if anyone has noticed my other post, I'm mainly a video game collector. However, I also love Bond stuff (specifically Goldeneye era), and I recently picked up a Bond watch that was a Nintendo Power mail-away item. Are there other watch collectors around here, or anyone that knows the pricing history of this watch?

Basically I had been looking for about 2 years, they don't tend to turn up. Then one appeared last week and got posted on Reddit. Tons of page views and went pretty high for a "cheap" watch, though it is still a collectible that appeals to both Nintendo fans and Goldeneye fans.

Went for $312.88:

By freak luck, another one appeared the next week! It has some scuffs on the glass apparently, but I won it for a fraction of my snipe, only $77!

So anyone have one or know more about the history of the item? I'd love to find one complete in it's original Nintendo packaging if someone could help!

funny enough I had just looked at your Nintendo posting when i saw this - there are not many merchandise collectors left on this forum

pity you are in the US as I have quite a bit of the N64 GE promo material - large card cubes - standees - vinyl drops - racking headers etc.

that watch is a rare one and I get asked about mine all the time as most people have never seen it or never even heard about it.

if you click on the link below you can see the box - it was a cheap thing when current, I think I paid £20 but they very soon disappeared - the coolest thing about it is that the hologram face matches the watch used in the Nintendo game.

Also, I know I'm in the USA but I don't mind paying shipping if you'd ever like to part with anything... PM coming :)

Yep that is the image - the box is pretty boring but it is what it is - scary to think I bought that 16 years ago!!!

And just in case anyone was curious, I pulled out some old Nintendo Supply catalogs. Found it in Winter 1997:
