Tapatalk

Hi. I just wondered if there was any chance of getting the forum on Tapatalk?

For those who may not know, Tapatalk is an app for iPhone and Android etc. that allows you to use forums on the move.

As far as I know, it's free to activate a forum on Tapatalk (I seem to remember the idea of an official app being touted and rejected due to costs).

Anyway, just an enquiry as I'd love to be able to use the forum on the Tapatalk app. Info in link below:-

Like all the other agents of the world here, I am often on the road (and run) and would also love to see tapatalk support.

This would be a matter for SiCo to deal with. He's been busy, and does have a list of things to deal with, but I'm sure he'll look at the possibility in time.

I've never heard of tapatalk before...so it must be pretty niche...what difference or usage or advantage does it have over using the normal site ?

So far I've never had a problem posting from my phone.

It is an app built for life on forums. When their free plugin has been installed on the forum, it is easy to browse and navigate the forum, including searching, replying etc.
One of the better features is the possibility for notifications.

Unfortunately at this time the software this forum uses is not supported by Tapatalk and I don't have the time to integrate it. I am looking to replace the software however I have never found anything I like (they are all really old or 'almost finished' but not quite!). I picked this current software thinking it was the next big thing and it was for a while and then it dried up!

The only sustainable option seems to be to pay for software (which I am not adverse to doing) but I would prefer to keep it free.

The software I favour (paid for) is Invision Board (http://www.invisionpower.com/apps/board/), which I know a lot of other sites use.
