If Brosnan started in TPOAL?

If Timothy Dalton did only two films and he decided to quit after that at an early time, Brosnan would fill in for the role and do The Property of a Lady, which would release somewhere in 1991 (or possibly 1992 in order to coincide the 30th anniversary of the franchise). Maybe there will be no troubles with MGM.

I can't imagine him in TPOAL.

Hard to say, as I recall numerous article from around the time Goldeneye opened said the reasons for the delay in a 17th film were numerous. Richard Maibaum(Screewriter for many of the films) had just died around 1990/91, MGM was in major financial trouble, and Albert R. Broccoli was in failing health. Also Brosnan had just lost his wife to cancer, so I imagine he would only want to make smaller projects and stay close to his children when not working.
