Persol 2720 as a daily wear pair of sunglasses

The Persol 2720 seem to still be readily available online. Besides the collecting side of it, I'm due for a new daily pair of sunglasses. For those who own them and wear them every day, do you like them?

I like them as much as the 2244s, but these have one advantage in comparison to the 2244s: they are much more lighter. The 2244s are really heavy and they like to fall off if you will look down. They also leave marks on the nose. The bad thing about the 2720s however is, that they don't fit every face. The size that Bond was wearing in "Casino Royale" i probably to big for most of us, so I'm wearing the smaller version.

I own a pair in black since 2007 and wear them constantly.
Great sunglasses, very comfortable. I highly recommend them.

The Domino Effect

My 2720s are my 'business' and 'winter' sunglasses. I wear them in winter because they are quite sturdy and won't be damaged when stuffed-in and removed-from the pockets of heavy coats. I wear them to business meetings because I think they better suit a suit and tie than more sporty frames and lenses. You could certainly wear them every day, year 'round though.

Thanks Domino! I'm looking forward to finally getting a pair. I bought a pair of Oakley's (I know, what am I thinking?!!) and I'm going to return them today. The optics are great but the frames are just cheap plastic. It's ridiculous how expensive they are. It's amazing that the Persols are even less expensive and the quality (I'm hoping) is superior!

Persol is one of the best brands out there. I had a pair and loved them!!! Best sunglasses I ever had.

They arrived today and I'm very happy! Picked them up on Amazon for around $125. The quality is superb and I also went for the small size (57). Now off to Montenegro.... -{
