Action scenes I would like to see in a Bond movie

A more origional version I would like to see is Bond skiing or snowmobiling off a cliff and into the tailgate of the helicoptre.

I want Bond to have his own Red Grant or Alec Trevalyan - an opponent who goes toe-to-toe with Bond and almost defeats him. Bond's been winning his fights just a wee bit too easily so far. I'm starting to feel sorry for the bad guys!

I agree. Craig hasn`t had a good really convincing physical oponent yet. Mads Mikkelsen is tall and fit, but never fought Bond.

A number of us seem to want the same thing, to see Bond pushed to and beyond his limits.

Bond of old was tough. However, he also got his arse kicked and defeated people using his brains and cunning. There was no way he could defeat Odd Job for instance, but dived over to the cable and electrocuted him. Same with Moore and Jaws, Brosnan and Stamper. Sometimes Craig just wins his fights too easily to be believable or interesting.

I'd also like to see a skiing/snow action scene. And a really good car chase. It could be chasing anything, but if it were as good as Bullit, The French Connection or Vanishing Point, I wouldn't be disappointed! )

James Bond's rival, the mission impossible franchise (which i love myself) has had some good action scnes, ecpecially in ghost protocol. I would like to see Bond up fighing up on a high building. And maybe Bond fighting through a natural disaster, Tornado, or something? James Bond meets Dante's peak, with more then one threat involved.
Maybe a fight in an aeroplane like Goldfinger. Now, that would be EPIC.

Don't worry you will see Bond fighting on a high building in Skyfall.

ski stunts, powerboats, enough already ! I appreciate that it becomes increasingly difficult to avoid repeating themselves. Although what I liked about Ghost Protocol was that it was something I thought I had not seen before. Upon reflection though it's clear that Bond was doing exterior aerial work as far back as DAF, and that Batman seems to be forever leaping off tall buildings. So I guess I owe you an apology as it's a question of finding a new twist or variation as it is a feature of the Post-modern condition that nothing new exists under the sun...although we are now In the Post-post modern I guess.

Base jumping in one of those cool flying suits may be good.

I would like to see a final confrontation with the main villain as the conclusion of the film. Le Chife & Greene were both killed by Quantum. Of course the nemesis would have to be as physically imposing or better than DC and that's no small feat because unlike the other bonds DC is well built ) SC was a tough looking guy but DC is a freaking brick house

i think i've seen all the stuff i want to in a bond film already, the only thing i'd say that could do with improvement would be a decent car chase scene.

they never seem long enough or fast enough for my liking. CR was way too short, QoS was terribly edited, and cut short as we never saw the DBS on its side did we? DAD was good, prob my favourite bit of the film, the boat chase in TWINE is always a favourite.

what i'd like to see is a proper high speed chase going on, say on a motorway, brit cop cars chasing whoever, they pull to one side and bond blasts through in a DBS, v12 roaring away.... sigh. it'll never happen but there ya go, my 2 cents.

Personaly I want to see Bond fight a bad guy either hand to hand or a Escrima duel with knives and sticks. Also a decent car chase is a must.

The lack of a good fight with the villian at the end was one of the many problems with QOS. Elvis looked like he couldn't take Winnie the Pooh and Greene looked like the last time he had a fight it was with a girl in the schoolyard and she won.
