Consequently we'd have to accept countries like Syria, Iraq and others denying the deportation of their own citizens from our countries with the same reasoning.

The error in thought is, that countries where most refugees are coming from are usually far away from having something that can really be called a government.

Well we only let in (some of) the people that can prove they are deserves. And obviously don't have a background that's a threat.

On the news, there is a story of an English lad, who went off to fight for ISIS, he had an
Argument with its leadership and is now in a prison. ...... His parents want our Government
To help " Bring him home " ?
I do feel sorry for his parents but, I'm sorry if you've been in ISIS as a foolish middle-class
Student, fighting for them. Then the UK is no longer your Home, you've turned your back
    On it !
Might sound harsh but , this type of treatment, is just what he was fighting for, for others .
So, I'd leave him there, and infact deny him entry back.

His parents are being charged with funding terrorism because they sent him money :))

The murders of a local Chinese restaurant were sentenced today one got nine years
The other 15. The victim was stabbed 18 times! My anger is firstly with the scum
Who carried out the murder, but also with the sentence given. What exactly do you
Have to do these days to get a life sentence ?
If I was a member of the victim's family, I"d feel cheated by the justice system.

Watched a programme the other day about cruise liners ,and the amount of pollution they create . Now according to the TV people the amount of harmful smoke these things belch out ,is equivalent to ,wait for it 1,000,000 cars a day .Apparently if you sunbathe at the bow of the ship ,you will breath in more harmful substances than ,sitting at Piccadilly circus . Now there are plans afoot to put a cruise liner terminal at Greenwich (South London) about 7 miles from my house , I don't have a problem with this The powers that be ,including our wonderful London Mayor , say this will be great for London ,all these holiday makers can get off and visit London ,bring in money jobs ect ect ,again I have no problem with this .Now these ships parked up ,will have to run their engines 24/7 to supply power for these water bound Titanics .or hook up to wait for it ,huge diesel generators on shore ,you can see where im heading :D .Now this is all jolly fine and good ,but I don't want to hear every day ,that "THEY" want to ban diesel cars ,vans ect in London but they will let a million car a day polluter park up, Its not about pollution its about raising tax as usual and poor old muggins car owner is the easy target .Now I believe in Welshboys neck of the woods ,all cars are diesel ,or the islands would shut down
By the way, did I tell you, I was "Mad"?

I find the arrogance of the present British govt staggering ,"we ie the Tory party, are going to ban the sale of all petrol and diesel cars after 2040 ,(ill probably be dead by then :D ) well who to say that they will be in power ,I cant see for one moment the British public going along with this ?. im sure vehicles like JCBs bulldozers various plant ect ect wont run on batteries ,yes I would imagine that in the future we will be clever enough to produce a power pack as big as a fag packet ,that will plug in your dash board and will be powerful enough to propel a HGV or a fire engine ect but that's going to be in the next 150 years not in the next 22 ??
As I said before ,these ocean going cruise liners pump out the equivalent of 1,ooo,ooo cars per day of particles ,are these idiots in charge going to ban these ? Its ok for people like me that have a drive way and a garage to plug my electric car in ,but what if you live in a tower block? These dopes really need to re think this ,hundreds of thousands of people will be put out of work .Its bad enough that the French and the Chinese run our power stations ,so if one day the Chinese or the French want to destroy the UK or declare war on us ,whats to stop them switching off our electricity ?
By the way, did I tell you, I was "Mad"?

The latest proof that we in N.Ireland ( our Politicians anyway ) can't run our own affairs and need
England to sort things out for us ( no matter what some political parties might say ) is the latest story
    About ....... Electric Bikes !
It seems the rest of the UK brought in legislation to cover these in 1995, apart from ? ..... Yes
Over here. So now if you live in any part of the mainland countries, you can just swing your leg over and
Pop down to the shops etc . Over here you'll need ......
....... To sit a motorcycle test for a licence.
Wear heavy boots , leather trousers or jeans with a leather jacket and a crash helmet
Your bike will need to be registered, to get a license plate, and an MOT certificate ( if needed )
Pay both road tax and insurance.
Failure to do this will lead to a £1000 fine and six points on your license.
Oh, and you can't ride them in cycle lanes !

Any wonder there are so many Irish jokes :))

Hero of the week is this guy in Dublin who gave a thieving little **** his just deserts https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/bike-theft-video-rugby-tackle-dublin-cctv-carbon-racing-bicycle-360-cycles-a7886611.html%3famp

Complete B+stards of the week go to these utter scum and the thousands like them around the country. Years before the famous case the authorities were well aware of this issue as was I having been professionally involved, it lead to me having a life direction change, more than that I can't say about myself. But this article I think is relevant and I do think it's about time as a nation we stopped being terrified of being labeled a racist or nationalist for speaking the truth. There's a conversation to be had about race in the Newcastle sex abuse scandal – and we should be brave enough to have it

As in mainstream media is usually written to steer people's judgements. It's in the little details normally, but whenever some serious stuff goes down it's an ethnic minority in the dock.

But it's pretty obvious that tabloids go for the sensationalist stuff. We get daily updates on terrorism but the Muslim marches for peace and solidarity? Never mentioned once.

So it brings us to the question, is it always the foreigners involved or is that just what the tabloids want you to believe?

I'd also like to make it very clear that I understand and believe there's good and bad in all walks of life, and all the bad stuff in life is not always done by the hands of those 'orrible foreign types.*

*'orrible foreign types being a tongue in cheek phrase.

A friend of ours is Palestinian, and her brother who lives across the pond was in London last week and got murdered presumably for his appearance. So as they say in my country, the s**t just got real. :# Police are still investigating it.

Thanks. But in this world, things happen. I actually did not know her brother at all, and I don't really hang out with her all that much (she's more my Wife's friend), but still, it's all stuff you read until it hits someone you know (or YOU). :( I fear most of us will ultimately be touched in some way by violent prejudice at some point in our lives... back in the 70's when I was a kid I was so sure that the world was on track to leave this kind of BS behind in the 20th, but like Snake Plissken said in Escape From LA (an eerily predictive film for my country), the more things change, the more they stay the same...

Words are trite. Even if you were not close it hits directly a to your home. It is scary and deeply saddening. These feelings should not be discounted.

As a side note I was cleaning out my guest room that used to be my daughter's nursery. I found one of her dresses, booties and diapers. It felt like a kick in the gut. It has been two years and 5 months on the 14th. Anyone who says it gets easier is a lair.

On a happy note that is my Mr. Vesper and I love Bond. It is something Escapist that we can do together at home but we both really enjoy. Reading Bond debates online has really helped me through all this because it's a positive distraction.

We've recently had a lot of the travelling community camping near my sons nursery, they've moved on now but left an unholy mess on the field in front of the nursery, but they did take something with them..... The storm drain covers from the road. Which I discovered today when my back wheel bounced through an uncovered one, there was an almighty bang then a terrible grinding noise from the car. When I checked the shock absorber spring mount had severed the spring and the mount new jammed onto the top of the tyre, I tried to hobble home but the tyre burnt through, I'm self employed and downtime is costly especially when I'm going on holiday at the end of this week! Thankfully the mother in law leant me her car so I could get to work and mine has now gone for repair and a 250 quid bill, all thanks to a thieving bugger and a few quid scrap. X-(

They tend to move in on a Friday as I think
It takes until Monday to get an order to move
Them On. Always leave the place a total mess. X-(
