Lee Rigby killer Michael Adebolajo's £100,000 compo claim for 'psychological scars' he suffered in scuffle with prison staff !!!!!
This story shows how stupid we as a country have become. We compensate terrorist killers 8-)
The killers of an Unarmed and outnumbered man hacked to death with machetes! X-(
.... A sharp drop with a rope would ease all his troubles.

He can claim all he wants - I think his chances of actually seeing any compensation are precisely zero.

Indeed, I think that one will be quickly thrown out as too frivolous for a court to deal with.

I feel sorry for the poor Guards who I assume will have to be
Investigated and for the family of Lee Rigby.

    My rant for today:

    DYSON!!

I like some of their shamelessly overpriced products, have ordered a Tower Air Purifier from them.

Before it has been actually shipped, I've received a payment reminder from them and I've paid immediately after I've received the shipment.
I was not too happy with the performance, so it goes back.

Dyson customer Service told me, that the refund may take up to 30 days. Laughable if you keep in mind how hard they pressed me to pay THEM without delay.

I am expecting something from DHL but due to a f*ck up on their part it was going to be sent back.
Now, after a long talk with their customer support, it will be here...this Thursday.

I've lost thousands of €€ last June because of TNT.

I've had an airfreight shipment from China for my business and TNT was heavily affected by the computer virus.

TNT was the only transportation company that went black for entire 4 weeks!

My goods where trapped in Paris for one week and in Leipzig for another week and nobody could move them because their system was down.

At the end of 4 weeks waiting, everything went back to Hong Kong and had been reshipped by FedEx.
No apolgy from TNT and no compensation.
When the goods arrived, the sales rep (who was no help in these 4 weeks), called me and wanted to receive new orders.

What really p*ssed me off was that I called TNT on a friday afternoon at 15:00 to get some of their managers. After 45 minutes of trying, the lady had to tell me that none of them was in office!

Wasn't TNT a subsidiary of FedEx?
    That must've really sucked, man.

The only time I'd lost a package was with USPS.
From the first eBay auction, I'd won, it was a very beautiful Zero Halliburton briefcase which I intended to use as a laptop case.
That never happened. Fortunately, the seller was cool about it and I even got compensated for the loss of my package.
Still, it sucked and I will try to limit USPS as much as possible. That won't be hard due to the high import taxes that have been placed recently in Greece.

I rate DHL highly, they are normally spot on, Higgins I know it would be a days travel but could you not have travelled to liepzig to collect your shipment? And limit your losses.

Of the courier companies, DHL have also been the best for me. Never made a mistake...yet...and they actually try and work with me, unlike the others. Purolator is the least customer-friendly: they do what they want to do and I have to adjust my life around them. UPS is as good as DHL when they work well, but unfortunately they make a lot of mistakes and it tends to always become a hassle. FedEx is fine, but I'd choose DHL first and UPS second.

Everyone is better than My Herpes, or fecking Tuffnells (the big green cockbat machine).

I had a delivery from tuffnells coming and even though I'd sent them full address, contact details and even a google map with a route in with descriptions on where to go they still got lost, gave up and dumped it on a building site where someone nicked half of it.

Divs, utter dough head useless cockwombles, probably get lost on the way to work each morning.

Nobody would have released the goods (duties, taxes etc) directly because noone had access to the relevant data.

Anybody ever felt like banging their head against a wall talking to a online customer service assistant???

Im not even buying anything but so annoyed at the thicko on the other end that I have continued arguing for the sake of my faith in education and mankind!!

Ive started to even conclude its a robot on the other end.

Case in question. I have 2 items in my online cart

When I go to checkout, due to my location VAT is deducted

Product 1 takes VAT off - correct and usual behaviour
Product 2 goes up a fiver above actual retail - clearly a bug

Im on my 5th attempt explaining this to the idiot on the other end and they keep telling me that its correct. My 10 year old can see its wrong - simple maths after all.

I was not even going to buy the items in Q but pricing stuff up hypothetically etc

Just sent screenshots to this utter pillock to explain in baby terms but I feel the guy is a total donut

I will persist and prevail :D

The death penalty exists in my country. I think there are people waiting to be hanged but I don't think any body has been executed for some years. Child rape is unfortunately not one of the crimes that the person can be hanged for. You can get hanged for murder or treason and terrorism. I also know that soldiers can be hanged for mutiny or desertion while on active service (running away from the enemy) as this was read to us before we deployed to the DRC.
I cannot remember any cases myself, but any child rapists would be dealt with by the people perhaps even before the police could arrest them. I think they would be very lucky to live.

Computer problems. My internet connection died yesterday. I'm no computer wiz but I know the basics and through a process of elimination knew that it wasn't my computer that was at fault. I did all the usual problem-shooting and nothing worked. Finally, I phoned customer assistance. It's always a last resort because it's never fun. Although the people at the other end are always nice and generally eager to help, they have a script or procedure that they must follow. And consequently, after explaining my situation in detail and then basically re-telling it through a long series of pre-programmed questions and answers, after 40 minutes they finally came to the conclusion that yes, my internet wasn't working! Excellent. I would never have figured that out on my own.

You are lucky you are only on your 5th attempt at trying to explain...I’ve been trying to explain simple maths (which is the higher number, 3105 or 2907 - I kid you not X-( ) for 7 months and trying to get my gas & electric metres swapped for 11 months...still no end in sight :#
