I never liked Sunday opening as I think it's not asking too much to let
Workers have a Family day off.
I agree entirely. Although it's convenient for people who work M-F, we managed perfectly well before Sunday opening and I do think it means that too many families don't have that day together. And regardless of what people say about people enjoying working Sundays etc, I know from many friends that half of them are forced to work on Sundays against their will because the majority of people still like to have a conventional weekend off.
Boxing Day, Xmas Eve, bank hols, late night Thursdays, Sunday shifts....
Yep I feel ya pain, my wife and I miss out on quality family time all because some sad **** wants to go shopping at 7am on a wintery Boxing Day morning.
A life in retail really 'sux bawlz' as the kids say.
this is a follow up to the (what song are you listening to thread )
as I was saying, I was trying to drive on the worlds biggest car park today (had to go to Guildford to do a job)
any way on the way back gets stuck in the que from the M20 junction heading towards the Dartford crossing ,now this is just pure greed, they said when its all paid for the tolls will go, (there is no other way of crossing the river
unless the idiots in charge want a million cars suddenly decending on central London I don't think so , they would rather have every one stuck on the M25 ,now I also read that the IIC ( idiots in charge) want to fine drivers £10,000 for speeding ,chance would be a fine thing, so on that piece of genius if they can fine you £10, 000 for speeding ,perhaps we can fine the IIC £10,000
when we are stationary on their motorway , now are we going to see similar fines for burglary rape carrying a knife, car theft
ect ect don't hold your breath when is the country going to wake up and vote these Eton educated idiots out of office
Yet another bloody sex abuse case, this time about a pedo ring operating
Around Westminster and the MPs. Well over 100 Files missing, sounds
Like a cover up.
With so many cases lately, it would seem in the 70s no adults were having
Sex with each other.

^ Yes, it's a bloody disgrace that those responsible in the Establishment may go free simply because the dossier on the child sex scandals and all other 114 related files were most probably destroyed in a cover-up that is an indictment on those in power at the time (and possibly even since). What a rotten bunch those responsible are! I read yesterday that the Conservative MP who had the courage to compile the dossier was on a hit list and was given round the clock police protection as his life was in danger. What a country we live it!
Let the rule of law run its course and may justice prevail in order to show that the legal writ has no limitations and nobody (whatever their status or position) is above the law. Our British democracy is founded on these very principles and it is in peril if the powers that be ignore this elephant in the room any longer. The clock is ticking for the next General Election...get it sorted out now! :v

Johnny is not the treat I first envisaged, he's a very naughty boy. Two tons of pig iron with the mentallity of kevin the teenager.
Johnny is of course my 'new' car. It's a jaaaaag. And it's a rather picky bitch. I've had it now for a month and a half. And I think I've either just about got it sorted or it's going to need another bit bolting on. I (and my wallet) fear that it's the latter.
Things are never simple thats for sure, and all this buggering about and scratching my increasingly bald bonce at the bloody car has meant I've been on here about as much as Maggie rode Dennis.... ie not a lot.
So before I reach for the nearest birch branch and go all Basil Fawlty on Johnny, I'm taking my mates advice of deep breaths, keeping calm and using a lump hammer.... no, no lump hammer..... and getting on with things.
I have a list of stuff to get sorted, that damn competition prize bundle to send out, the charity frames need shipping and boofer's twigger for his gg needs doing at some point, all while finishing off a little black nugget, looking after micro and holding a full time job down. And then the car needs working on. Again.
Spare time? (best marvin the paranoid android voice) Don't talk to me about spare time.
Can someone tell me what next week's winning lotto numbers will be please?
