Thanks for the tips guys! Unfortunately I've already had adjustments made so an exchange for a different size or cut is not an option, so will just have to adjust the sleeves. I tried the regular fit Conduit suit and it was very boxy.
Also just saw a tweet from Anthony Sinclair. They've just added a navy ready-to-wear Conduit suit to the £700 special offer
Apologies for the bad pics (dark and early here and my little girl assisting with photos)
Also as I'm packing to leave for Europe still have not got the creases out but its better then it was!
I was a bit concerned about the sleeve length but thought the cocktail cuff shirt felt shorter then I'm used to hence I tried on my TF shirt (last two pics)
My main concern is that the trouser tabs are fully maxed out hence if required cannot adjust tighter.

Happy to hear peoples honest thoughts / advice
The jacket looks pretty good, except the length looks about an inch too short. On Connery's suits the trousers and the top jacket button almost meet, but Connery's trousers have a high rise and the jacket has a low button stance. The sleeve length on the jacket is perfect. The cocktail cuff shirt's sleeves are a little too short. Find out if they can be lengthened (on high-end English shirts, they usually leave about an inch in the sleeve to be let out). If not, send it back. There's no point in paying so much for a shirt that has such a big fit problem. The trousers need a bit of work. The trouser rise is much too short and should at the very least be as high as the bottom button on the jacket. Pulling them up a bit may help, if that's possible. The legs are a mess in the back, and the length is too long. The trouser tabs being maxed out is not a problem since taking in the waist of the trousers is one of the easiest alterations. The trouser waist can be taken in up to two inches before the cut is thrown off. I'm not sure if you're going for a Skyfall type of fit, but since you're getting a suit with Sean Connery's tailor's name on it I would assume you want a suit that has more of the elegance of Connery's suits.
Yes the trousers indeed bunch up at the bottom due to excess length.
Interesting about the jacket length, I thought maybe a tad too long.
I contacted David Mason about fitting appointment and he said he should be about the end of August etc so the suit will be returned and he can measure me up which will be great and he will of course have my measurements on file.
For guys who have taken advantage of the deal from Anthony Sinclair, I'm curious what you thought about the fit. Did you order your true size, and did you go with the slim version or regular? I live in the US, so want to get it right the first time. I plan to contact them before purchase, but am just curious to get some feedback from guys who have actually purchased the suit.
David, it looks fantastic on you! Is that with no alterations? With the slimmer fit, slanted pockets and no pleats on the trousers, dare I say this suit most resembles the Diamonds Are Forever suits. The wider are a nice balanced width, larger than Connery's 60s suits but narrower than in Diamonds Are Forever. The white shirt looks fantastic on you, though Connery rarely wore white shirts.
Matt, from you (the person I consider the suit guru) I take that as a huge compliment....yes, the video was taken with ZERO alterations. The only thing I need to do is get the pants hemmed. And I LOVE the white shirt....may be my go to with those cuffs.
I concur. Mantis looks great in the video. Good enough to make me want to purchase the suit, I might add. Would be lovely for this year's Christmas do.
I really like the look of the shoulders in particular.
It seems as though are are a few options on the website, which are rather confusing!
The fact that Matt S likes the look of it does speak volumes, as he certainly knows his stuff.

The trouble with ready-to-wear suits is that while it looks great on David without alternations, it is just as likely to look awful on you or me. David's body type must be close to whatever the base measurements are for that particular cut. Someone else posted a picture of themselves in this thread wearing the same suit and it needed quite a bit of work. In any event, it's a very attractive suit and the details all appear to be in moderation so as to make it timeless. -{

That's true, but I am usually "fine" in a jacket with natural (rather than super-built up) shoulders. Built up shouders always give me a weird boxy look, as I have large shoulders anyway.

David, just saw your video. Great review! Enjoy the suit, it looks good on you!

So, what sharp little eyes you've got...wait till you get to my teeth.

Thanks brother! See what you started?
Sorry about that. But you do look oh so sharp in Anthony Sinclair!

terrific! loved it as always.
That is a sharp looking suit -{
If only Skyfall suits looked this elegant.
The jacket seems to fit you very well in the shoulders, which I often have trouble with, in off-the-peg jackets (and thus never end up buying them).
Lovely looking piece of fabric, too.
And as usual, after watching one of your reviews, I now need to buy one of these!!!
Good work :007)
The Anthony Sinclair suit does all the work
LOL....it certainly helps....AND P90X3!

Well, if I go by what men wear in this beach town...Birkenstocks. )
