On Wednesday the 23rd my wife and I went into hospital, 6 o'clock that night my wife started contractions that went on until baby was born on Saturday the 26th at midday.
We waited a day and a half for a bed in the right ward and it was a rollercoaster of an experience for all of us. In the end we finished up with an emergency caesarian operation, and eventually little one arrived.
I've emailed a few of my mates on here, some before others and some I haven't got round to as I may have forgotten to, sorry for anyone who I missed out, Sir Miles I know I haven't contacted you yet. It's just one of those things where you obviously don't have much time spare to text and email people. Either way thanks to all those who have sent some real kind messages, both my wife and I have found them to be really kind and thoughtful.
Anyway, enough about us, here's the little lady,
Emily Barbara May, born 12:50 26/01/13
(The wife suggested the first name which I couldn't really turn down could I, and the rest are family names that just happen to have a coincidental bond connection, so again no complaints from me)
Cheers guys, I guess I might not be as frequent on AJB for a while (must be quite a welcoming thought to many) but i'll be back soon.

Congratulations to both your wife and yourself -{
No probs about not getting in touch....you have FAR more important things and people to deal with !
Give my best to Emily - and its time to start work on a companion piece, something to give you peace of mind in 16 years or so...its called a baseball bat - or a 'boyfriend deterent' )

Congrats to both of you Mini-G! I burst out laughing at the picture this afternoon, Emily looks like she's thinking "Never mind the pics, It's dinner time!" Cute bairn, very expressive eyes. -{
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

Personally I think if you have a daughter, Mini Gem works better.
Either way, better start prepping for nappies and feeding at 2 Am!
Congratulations {[]
This is the sort of build were you are constantly tinkering long after you think you have finished the project )
And the one that goes drastically over budget!

I'm sure she'll grow out of it, even if her daddy can't!
Hope she sleeps at night… -{
