I think this must have been a practice session, you can see the pen still in CL hand :)

I don't think the trigger is on the gun in that
photo either... look at how close his finger is
to the handle... doubt it could be in that position
if the trigger was in place... just an observation :007)

Anyone else feel faint when anything 'Golden Gun' is
posted up :)) you almost feel like clicking on the topic
to view is like opening the fuse box to a multiple wired
''Bomb'' .... leading to a statement like ..... There was 6
Film used Golden Guns...... BOOM! :))

:) ... we might just have a read of it some day :# dailo007

Pete - Here we Go again.... BOOM! :)) Yea Both Cuff Links still in place,
what sharp eyes you have :) .... since Lee, didnt even have the gun
built he should have just used his hand in the typical pointing fashion with
his thumb as the hammer :)) to stand in for the Golden Gun..... All This
practice.. is more than likely what caused a bit of a balls up in that scene
..... never seeing the Cuff Link go on the gun :#

However - Regardless of what replicas have been made and how they went
together, SD and FE..... etc The original Assembly Gun ( or one of them :) )
had the cuff link's small threaded head screw in place as the trigger Much like
the very first SD Studios Golden Gun... and not the 2 yard long 'thread' sticking
out of the Cuff Link to hold the prop together.... if there was an Original Golden
Gun held together with a long thread there must have been a 2nd Assembly Gun
because the small threaded head cuff Links Scaramanga Wear's did screw in place
as the guns trigger... and were not just for show..... Unless...... Now this is Just a
thought.... The small thread head 'Cuff Link' was shown to go in place ... then the
camera cuts away and its then replaced with an overly long cuff link thread version
to hold it together .... thats just a theory dreamed up just now while writing this :))

As Far as I beleive the only Cuff Links that screw into any of the real Guns was the
small headed Cuff Links.... and not the long threaded versions that come with many
replicas in the years that followed... but thats just my opinion - Millions would Disagree,
But thats what makes it fun, everyone has their own views and opinions.... it would be
boaring if we all agreed with each other wouldn't it :007)

Yea.. thats exactly what I said.. The Cufflinks had small threaded heads
not long ones like feature in the 2nd Gen SD's and onwards or the FE...
