My very first theatrically viewed Bond film featured a 1971 Mustang Mach 1, to this day it's my favourite Bond car ("Lean over."). )
After that is the DB 5 & the Lotus-sub.
Yours?

I do also have a secret admiration for the Lada Niva 4x4 as seen in the hands of Russian bad guys in some of Pierce's outings. . . much more in my price bracket right now, although lacking in the street cred and reliability of the big Aston I fear.

They should put Bond back in a Bentley.

I'm sure everyone knows the story of what Lotus stands for:

So even if I had the Money I'd never Buy One.

So I suppose the Lotus for me, but I wouldn't kick Bond's FRWL Bentley out of my garage for having a leaky exhaust pipe.

Yeah, the car needs gadgets whatever it is. The Vanquish was about the best.

Other cars I like:
-As said before, the Lotus
-Some of the villains cars of the early movies like Lippe's car and that of Viona Volpe in Thunderball.
-Can't leave out the DB5 of course.
-Worst Bond "car" in my opinion: The Moonbuggy from DAF!

Anyhow, back on cars, for me, as previously stated, the DAD vanquish.
The worst bond car? The 'shoehorn that bastard in there or ford will sue us' 2 seconds on screen time and way too much publicity gut churning coloured piece of 'retro' cacky guff, jinx's DAD ford thunderbird. Useless.

That is why I used "" (wanted to use vehicle but since the OP said car)
I'd go for the Bondola.
I've got to say, I don't think the Astons you mentioned are very big. True, the DB5 looks big, but largely because its actually quite high and very narrow by todays standards ( about the same as a Ford fiesta), the modern DB range are not much bigger than the new Porsche 911's. Inside, the seats rack up close to the wheel and pedals for both shorties like yourself and girls too. :v The new Rapide is a lot larger, but that's four door. And quite horrible up close.
But I do think the new lotus' are more Craig.

we can all buy the jeans,, the cardigans,, the jackets,, but,, to have the car,, its gotta be the DB9.. that!! or the nasty DB7 is the ony car we !!! can afford to buy,, the 7,s can go for as little as 16k, and the 9,s for around 30k. so, get saving,, and live the dream,, ..
Do not buy a DB7 for this sort of money. I had a low mileage six cylinder one that set me back 30k about five years ago. It cost me another 10k on annoying faults. It was a good car to drive, but always going wrong. Maybe the later Vantage models were better, I don't know. It also creaked a lot. I felt with every journey it was literally wearing out! I know they upped their game with the DB9, and I'm tempted to trade in next year, but I don't think I could take the unreliability and huge cost of repairs again.

Actually, using the the DB7 every day was kind of like putting a bone china tea set in the dishwasher. Sooner or later it's going to break. I put 40k miles on a Porsche 911 (993) taking it over 80k miles, and it was as tight and perfect when I sold it as when I bought it. I only changed the oil once and it sailed through two MOT's!
I use my BMW M5 every day, have owned it a year and have only changed the oil once (although it needs topping up a lot - its a 5 litre V10 after all) and I've done 11k miles in a year. Once again, it's just gone through its MOT and didn't need anything. Some performance cars (and let's face it the M5 is as quick or even quicker than a Vantage, DB9 or DBS) can be used every day, and some can't.
