Suggestions for future Bond movie titles

I couldn`t find the old thread so I started a new one.
I`m reading my second William Boyd novel now (I`ll write a review) and saw the expression "The devil`s work is never done". I think The Devil`s Work sounds great to me. Both Bond`s line of work and the actions of the villan could be called The Devil`s Work

If there ever is a Bond movie with a female lead villian, "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" would be a good title.

    That's a nice one. -{

Here's a few off the top of my head:

    Thou Shalt Kill
    The Genome Device
    Biggest Bang Theory
    Future Imperfectum
    Not The Fall That Kills
    To Be Or Not
    On Borrowed Time
    For Love Of The Games
Dalton & Connery rule. Brozz was cool.

Come to think of it, how much does Bond get paid for each assignment.

I think the best suggestion yet is "Every Rose has its Thorn" (other than my suggestion, that is ..) Bond movies are the only action movies with long titles and those are often among the best Bond titles.

No,too CR. These two are better:

    Blood from a Stone

    Tears from a Stone

Wasn`t there a Bond computer game named Bloodstone? I like Blood from a Stone anyway!

Thanks! I see it`s very tempting to many to post jokey suggestions on threads like this. Very undertandable, but also sometimes a bit irritating. Perhaps someone could start a joke title thread?

Here's my suggestion: "Never Say Roger Again" :))

Seriously, though, as I have said before I really think it would be great if they could build a film around the title "Shatterhand". For some reason I really like that name, and perhaps they could use it as the title of the film in which Blofeld is re-introduced (Blofeld used Shatterhand as an alias in the novel "You Only Live Twice").
"Felix Leiter, a brother from Langley."

Yeah, I enjoy the serious creativity here!

    More:

    Dragon Fire
    Like Birds Of Pray
    Melt Down
Serpent In The Garden Of Evil
Dalton & Connery rule. Brozz was cool.

I think the point of the serpent is that it intrudes in a GOOD garden. The contrast is what makes the serpent in the garden work. Melt down seems too much like a standard action/disasters movie. Birds of Prey and Dragon Fire are pretty good.

There are some Fleming titles that are very good such as Shatterhand, but that has been debated a lot elsewhere.

If the plot involves Japan there are three variations of the same theme I find intereting:

    Kabuki
    Kabuki Play
    The Kabuki Mask

Kabujki is off cource the traditional form of theatre in Japan. It is very stylized and the actors wear very dramatic masks. In a plot involving covert action and hidden/false identities those titles would work nicely.
Further to the south is Indonesia, a great and exotic nation Bond has never been to. There they have shadow puppet theatre plays. What about:

    Shadow Play

    Shadow Puppets

I'd like to see them use Brokenclaw. I also don't care what other titles they use. Just include the words Gold, Death, Die or Kill.....please!!
Some people would complain even if you hang them with a new rope

See, there's this Monastery in Spain, and they use drugs to convert covert agents from various countries to do their evil international bidding, and when finished with them, get the agents to leap off tall buildings and cliffs. Bond is sent in to investigate, but uncovers much more than just a simple brainwashing scheme...
Dalton & Connery rule. Brozz was cool.

    Perhaps ....

Here is an idea I have posted in the past, but I think it`s good enough to be repeated:

    The Ice Kiss

    The Kiss of Ice

I actually prefer "The Ice Kiss" myself. The idea is from a Norwegian book and movie based on a true story that is very close to Vesper Lynd`s tragic fate.
