I honestly wouldnt mind seeing a new version Doctor No in a future Craig Bond movie, i think at this point we could use some gimmick villians again.

Can't have REd grant, you couldn't tell them apart.
I think Vargos would be good, of course they're all dead. Oh! Irma Bunt. And Bambi and Thumper.
Roger Moore 1927-2017
"see that some harm comes to him" <---- could it get any more sinister than that?

Kind of two girls one Coup. )
i really like the idea of having like a sideline story, an assasin on bond's tail, slowly catching up with him throughout the film, with us following bond mostly but a few little updates along the way until a confrontation towards the end of the film.
bit like carrie fisher in bluebrothers ) (sorry its early and thats the only comparison i could think of)

which is true. )
Seriously, I think lesbian or bi-sexual characters should be used in Bond movies in the future. If done right the characters can be interesting and and sexy, the movie Bound is a good example. If done wrong it will just be sleasy and exploitative.
Definitely a new rogue 006/terrorist leader would fit into Craig's universe quite well.
Or a power-hungry Murdoch-esque media mogul, which in today's world is a brilliant, timely sort of villain that was kind of both underdeveloped and ahead of its time in TND, imo.
Or an heiress to an oil pipeline...
But as far as the older films are concerned, I honestly think, given the recent developments with SpaceX, a Drax-like private space pioneer could be done in a much less silly, much more believable way in a Craig film. Also a villain that was ahead of his time.
A Mexican drug lord is, of course, always a good bad guy.
Its irronic, in the books I was a bit disappointed that Drax was so similar to Goldfinger, compared to the film versions.
Michael Lonsdale's cool calm and sardonically dry character is always fun to watch, a solidly believable character in the centre of the Sci Fi ideas surrounding him. - The Bond baddie I'd love to play myself! Only negative point was his wardrobe was so similar to Blofeld!
Out of curiosity (and a lack of knowledge of the other books) are there any literary Bond baddies that Mr Fleming created we haven't seen yet on the screen?
Fleming's Mr. Big (in full: Buonaparte Ignace Gallia) was never really brought to the screen: Yaphet Kotto's Kananga pretends to be a gangster called Mr. Big, but nothing at all of the Fleming character was used. OK, someone whose quest is to be the world's first "great negro criminal" is dated; but the character is interesting--physically huge, suffering from a heart condition that turns his skin gray, methodical, and in complete control of his minions. I'd love to see an updated Mr. Big in a future film.
