Easy there, TP! Someone might get the wrong idea!!!
How anyone could take a Dirty meaning out of this Innocent comment I'll never know. :v
I simply meant I purr like a kitten while watching it.
I think someone has been reading Fifty shades of grey, too much. )
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
I cringe at the the scene where everyone stands around the hologram of Renard in TWINE. People speak exposition in turns, usually while walking. They don't look at each other, butsomehow they know when it's their turn to talk. This is CSI acting - people don't talk or behave that way and it just looks fake.
One line that really irks me is "Guns make me nervous" in OHMSS because it is so blatantly obvious that Lazenby is dubbed.
Well, he's supposed to be doing his "Sir Hillary Bray" voice--George Baker dubbed Lazenby in all the scenes where he's playing Hilly.
Actually, a line that makes me cringe is "Jaaammmmeeees!", which is constantly screeched by Tanya Roberts in AVTAK. . .
I know Peter Hunt decided to dub Lazenby when he was in his Bray role, and I am fine with that (unlike Lazenby who learned about it during the premiere and wasn't amused) but the line sounds so out of place.
And let us hope we will never ever have a Tanya Roberts again.
It is a real shame because there was so much dubbing in the early Bonds, astounding. I mean I shan't spoil it for those who don't know, but.... So the Hilary Bray dubbing should have worked too, and it does in that the lip movements are in sync, but of course we know it's just the actor doing it, and so there's no suspension of disbelief.
I've thought it would be good to watch OHMSS with an entire dubbed Lazenby voice, esp the one liners at which he is rubbish, and a dubbed Savalas too, so he sounds Polish or foreign at least. That would be a great fans' edit.
Someone on mi6-hq said it was obscure reference to his moving around so fast in the first part of the movie. You stay on that site too long, you go mad.
It's a sort of transparently flimsy pretext to get Fields into bed, almost like, I'm not even trying but it's going to work. Prob a Daniel Craig line.
It prob could work in real life, with some sexual chemistry already established, but in a movie it sort of alienates the audience, much like the Brozzer Berry flirtation. Yuk!
Ie, can you come and look through my drawers. As in stationary, it lives in drawers, desk drawer, drawers as in undercrackers, boxers, briefs, pants, drawers.
It's just a smart arse way of saying 'wanna get my **** out?'.

Is that an established double entendre? Or just your interpretation?

To me, the guy just doesn't pull it off.. I can't help but think that all the other Bond's would have delivered them better...
