Many modern compacts can link directly to the cloud or sites like facebook etc.
In fact many smartphones these days can do everthing a separate camera can.
Sadly I'm an old fashioned photographer, I don't use and of these features. I'm
more a wander round the mountains, looking at interesting walls and old buildings,
using, light meters and nd filters ........... you know a boring git.

For a pocket camera, I have a Sony hx60 compact , very small with a 30x zoom,
( Very handy for the local tennis club's ladies matches )
A little bigger but with a DSLR size sensor ( still fits in a jacket pocket ) is a
Sony A5100 with a 16-50mm lens, amazing quality from a tiny camera.
I actually don't even own a DSLR anymore as I was so impressed with the smaller
Mirrorless cameras.

Excellent, as I'm a big sony fan and pretty much all my tech is sony I'll be following your recommendation, I may even get one of the cameras you mentioned, I lost track there as my mind wandered to images of tanned legs, tennis skirts and.......

128GB card with a 5.5 inch HD screen. It's of off eBay, a Chinese make "Homtom HT7 pro" .
It will be Interesting to see how it performs and all for £65.
It feels really well made, metal with a removable plastic back, but solid no squeaks .

I had an Ovation for many years, passed it on to my son now. I don't play electrics (apart from bass, of course) but my lead guitarist swears by Strats.
