Which Brosnan Film?

Hey everybody, I'm having a 007 party in a week or two and it's an open house deal. It'll run from 10 am to 11 pm. I've got one film from each actor to show, except for Pierce Brosnan. I'm stuck on what to pick, I'm leaning towards either GE or TWINE. Any ideas what the best film would be?

Connery: Goldfinger
Lazenby: OHMSS
Moore: TSWLM
Dalton: TLD (Tough choice, may change it)
Brosnan: ??
Craig: CR
"Better luck next time... slugheads!"

1. GoldenEye 2. Goldfinger 3. Skyfall 4. OHMSS 5. TWINE

Goldeneye every time. However, when you're starting to fade, that soundtrack is a real drag. And TND is a film of two halves, I always end up forgetting that I'm actually watching it halfway through. I'll be stacking the dishwasher or something and then wander back into the lounge as their boarding the stealth boat! Actually, I see the quandary you're in. DAD is rubbish, and although TWINE is good, it's no Goldeneye.

Goldeneye every time for me aswell. It's the only one of Pierce Brosnan's films that holds my attention from start to finish. As for the other actors films, I approve all your choices but I wouldn't blame you for swapping The Living Daylights for Licence To Kill as it would be a tough choice for me also.

Make that three in a row .... Goldeneye is my favourite Brosnan film by a mile.

I would stick with TLD as your Dalton choice ..... More generic and easy going

Without a doubt GoldenEye, it's by far the best PB film. And yeah, i'd stick with TLD. With those choices you have pretty much the perfect sampling of James Bond.

Sometimes with a group it can be more fun to pic a film you can slag off a bit, to keep the converstation going. IMO OHMSS is very good for this, it draws comment, not all negative by any means. DAD might do this too, but otherwise I guess GE would be good because it works superficially. You need a change of scene on screen and films like LTK don't offer this imo. I like TWINE cos of its subtleties, but I don't think it would grab a room full of people.

GF might be a drag on widescreen cos it doesn't fit that ratio, have you thought of that. Or will you stretch it. That said, we all know why TB might be a problem, it can become snoresville. But if you have a big plasma, that might work better.

Oh, have you thought of renting Return of the Man from Uncle as it has a cameo by Lazenby as Bond in it? You could just watch that bit, or its on youtube anyway.

Plus why not the 1954 Casino Royale with Barry Nelson?

    Brosnan: ??

    Goldeneye is the obvious choice, but TND is a rollicking good time IMO. For party purposes, I think it would work better for the livelier soundtrack & better Bond girl. -{
Dalton & Connery rule. Brozz was cool.

Goldeneye, also because it lead to the only first person bond shooter that the fans like. (GE64)

The only thing good about DAD was the title song imo.

There's some interesting points. I wouldn't have thought of screening a bad film for the conversation. And by the time the big underwater scene comes along in Thunderball, I've usually drifted off!
