Rank the Bonds by Others opinions

in The James Bond Films
I know we have our favourites but I was wondering how they would rank judged by
our wives, girlfriends/boyfriends husbands. My wife's list would be.

1. Connery, because he's CONNERY !.
2, Craig and Dalton, thinks they have lovely intense eyes.
3, Moore and lazenby doesn't really have any strong feelings about them.
4, Brosnan, Really doesn't like him, thinks he's a bit smug. Infact won't wath a film with him in it
except Bond which she has to watch ( or endure ) :))

    My girlfriend absolutely hates Craig as Bond

    My dear late Mother was not really a Bond fan but she adored Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan. She disliked Roger Moore and was quick to remind me any time he was on the TV. X-( Bless her :x She also disliked Daniel Craig when he was revealed as Bond #6 and thought he was all wrong for the role. I cannot remember her ever expressing an opinion regarding Timothy Dalton or George Lazenby.

    1. Sean Connery/Pierce Brosnan
    2. Timothy Dalton/George Lazenby
    3. Roger Moore/Daniel Craig

    My father is a Bond fan and rates Sean Connery and Roger Moore quite some way ahead of the others. He quite likes Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig. Doesn't have any strong feelings about Timothy Dalton but dislikes George Lazenby.

    Sean Connery - that's it. My wife absolutely refuses to watch anyone else as Bond!

    My sister sort of came round to Craig and her best mate fancies him, but she complains that he just doesn't look/seem intelligent enough. She liked Dalton, in that she fancied him, put her in the Lady Rose category that is lost on us blokes.

    My dad always liked Connery and liked Lazenby cos he wasn't Moore, he hated Moore and resented paying for his family to see him have a nice holiday in the sun. He dislikes Craig because he reminds him of some bloke he knew in his 20s whom he didn't get on with.

    My mum liked Connery and Moore, didn't rate Dalton much. Neutral on Brosnan. Got advanced Parkinson's, was able to pass opinion on Craig upon watching the Sony advert in which he dodges bullets or something. That's the new James Bond, mum! I said. "Really? Oh dear..."

    Both my Mum and Dad loved The Connery and Moore Films

    BL have you actually told your wife that any actors other than
    Connery played Bond, or have you told her they stopped with DAF. :))

    I hid them behind my "Absolutely Fabulous - The Complete Series" box set. I never thought she'd look there, but she busted me anyway!

    I guess I'm with the other 10%, funny how I wasn't asked to participate in this official, complete and be all end all of James Bond polls.

    My Dad's a Sean Connery bond lover. The rest he dismisses as follows (& I quote):-

    George Lazenby = No charisma
    Roger Moore = Lightweight
    Timothy Dalton = Too intense
    Pierce Brosnan = Wooden
    Daniel Craig = Thug

    Oh the hours of fun we have engaged in Bond banter. I've normally drifted off to sleep by the time he gets to his Dalton rant.

    Forgot to mention my dear Mother's thoughts. She's 76, like my Dad & has no particular loyalty to the films but enjoys them when they're on. She sees the following:-

    Sean Connery = Brutish & nasty
    George Lazenby = Don't think she's even aware who he is!
    Roger Moore = A Gentleman
    Timothy Dalton = Too serious
    Pierce Brosnan = Handsome charmer
    Daniel Craig = Ugly

    My grandma's (~75 years old) opinions:

    Sean Connery - Didn't like him at all. Even as a young girl, she didn't get the sex appeal.
    George Lazenby - Who?
    Roger Moore - Said she liked him but called him "Roger Smith" by mistake.
    Timothy Dalton - Said she liked him.
    Pierce Brosnan - Probably her favorite. Said she was very upset when they kicked him off.
    Daniel Craig - Said she liked him (but was much more interested in talking about his non-Bond movies with me)

    My Wife doesn't like Bond at all, & my Son says DN is the only interesting Bond film.

    My Dad: 1-Sean Connery 2-Roger Moore - Refuses to watch other Bond films... -{

    Mum: 1-Roger Moore 2-Pierce Brosnan 3-Sean Connery - Dislike Dalton or Craig; Don't know/remember Lazenby. :))

    My little brother only seem Brosnan/Craig, don't bother to watch older films and not care. 8-)

    Baby brother love Craig and Moore, hate all else. :(
    Dalton is the Bond! Lazenby is the other fella.

    1. Roger Moore. (The only Bond in his opinion)
    2. Sean Connery (Only once or twice)

    Most of my friends only watch Craig and perhaps a Brosnan.

    On Babies not having an attention span, when my daughters were
    Very young, for Bedtime stories. I'd give them my version of an
    Abridged and censored Bond book or film. ;)
    Simply change 007 in to a Rabbit or Jaws in to a big nasty dog.

    MY parents hve a vague idea who James Bond is, but I'm not sure they have ever seen a Bond movie. They seldom watch movies anyway. They did see Frozen with the grandchildren this Christmas. Dad's reaction to the opening scene was :"Cutting ice? I used to do that job after school at winter when I grew up ..." I also remember my mother' reaction when she saw governor Schwartzenegger on TV: "He reminds me of some kind of robot!" :))

    I my older sister dislikes Craig and I believe my younger sister likes him. I'm the only Bond fan in the family.

    My late parents Adored Sir Roger and liked Sir Sean
    Didn't rate Lazenby much. Sadly that's as far as they got.
    With Friends older like Moore, younger like Craig
    Most can't remember Dalton or Lazenby
    ( although many still think Lazenby was the first)
    With Brosnan being at about number three position
    With most people I know.
