custom made Bond DVD collection (and introducing myself)

Hi there everyone!

I am a new member here, and I hope you don't mind introducing myself this way. I cannot seem to find a propper introduction thread. ( I noticed there was another new member who just posted his introduction on this same forum a couple of minutes ago. Thunderpussy welcomed him but suggested using the introduction thread. I did search for the thread he suggested him to post my introduction in, but couldn't seem to find it. So I figured I would just try to introduce myself this way. )

I am a pretty young guy living in Holland, proberbly generations younger then most of the members I've seen arround here. I was born in 1990, turning 22 this september. (So I wasn't even alive yet during the Dalton era!) Over the years I've become quite fond of the Bond movies, I am in possession of all offical 22 EON films and have watched all of them countless times.

My all time favorite Bond movie is proberbly a huge suprise to a lot of members, as I notice the movie generally is seen as one of the weaker one's and gets ranked at the bodem a lot. But my favorite Bond movie remains: License to Kill! - This movie really stands out to me. The story of Bond losing his license and going on a personal vendetta to avenge Felix is brilliantly executed in my opinion. Robert Davi's performance as Sanchez is very well done, and he is definitely one of the best Bond villians in his history.

Anyway I didn't want to make this a License to Kill topic, what I wanted to show you guys is a small picture of my self designed custom made Bond DVD collection. The reason I made these custom covers is because I own a lot of different collections. Some DVD's are from the Ultimate edition, some from the older special edition one's and even some of the blu-ray's series. Whenever I would put together my collection you would have a lot of different looking DVD covers on the shelf, and I wanted it to look like one collection, so I figured I'd design my own unique one's! So whenever a new movie happens to be released I could just easily adapt to it by giving it the cover the same similar design.

Anyway, I am looking forward to Skyfall, and to jumping in on this forum! - Please note that english is not my mother language, I tend to make some grammar mistakes every now and then, but I will do my absolute best to make my self understandable!

I wouldn't worry about bad english, Mine is Crap and I speak the language )

Welcome aboard Dutchfinger -{ Nice unique collection you have there - it's very nice {[] I'll hope You enjoy Your stay here on AJB and like others have pointed out, don't worry about English grammar - My classification is also stated as a "Bloody Foreigner" here (given by a very good friend of mine) ) ...and Yes that proves at least one thing - I've made several friends during my stay here and even have had chance to meet people in-person from this forum. Looks like my decision to register on AJB was indeed a good one! It's nice to be able to talk to fellow Bond fans and share the passions, especially now that the 50 year anniversary is coming, very exciting times!

Like the DVD covers, I liked Dalton in The Living Daylights the movie was great as well, there are some Bond films I just can't watch, LTK where Bond lets the beauty get away to some old fart, Die Another day where Bond goes ice surfing, A View to a kill where Bond can barely move, judo chop. ) , Anyhow welcome to the board.
