What type of gadgets would you like Q to supply?

We have seen Ben Whishaw as Q in the teaser trailer. I think he looks very promising, but I fear he can turn out to be a computer wizz and littel more. What type of gadgets would you like to see him hand over to Bond?
Here are a couple of suggestions from me:

Hmmm.. Not sure how Anne Rimmen is suppossed to be a new gadget for Bond, but I'm sure he wouldn't complain if Q supplied him with that... :))

I'm also pretty curious to see what kind of gadgets (if any) Q is going to supply Bond with. Then again, the thought alone of finally having a Q again after ten years is pretty exciting on it's own! They proberbly won't go to much over the top with gadgets if they decide to include any. But then again, after two pretty serious films they could decide to have some fun again and put a classic Bond-ish slightly over the top gadget in there ... who knows :)

    Ooops .... :))

Yes, Bond sure wouldn't mind if Q handed Anne Rimmen to him. Unfortunately that would probably only happen by mistake, a bit like what happened here. I do think Q should issue gadgets like like the ones seen in the other links. I don't want Q to just give apps for Bond's smartphone, and I believe this is a good direction to go.

I really like that corner shot idea! Very clever! The cat is a very cunning and weird idea as well! :))

It got me thinking of how stupid it actually seems that Brosnan's Bond just shoots his autamatic weapon arround a corner without actually looking. When he is in a situation like shown in the above video. He doesn't stick his head arround the corner, he just sticks his arm out with his automatic weapon shoots away blindly and hopes to hit some enemies. I believe he did that in Tomorrow Never Dies on that stealth boat. (I'm sure some fans will know what I am talking about..)

I'd love to see the "observational probe" R Benson thought up in the books, Could be released
From under the DB5. So Bond could follow One villian while the Probe kept tabs on another,
Or as in the Book bond could use it to attack an enemy as it would have a few weapons built in.

The corner shot looks good, But I've seen it in a movie already, can't think of it, But it will
    come to me. :#

In season 4 of Top Shot they used the Corner Shot also in an Elimination Challenge.
Some people would complain even if you hang them with a new rope

I actually think the Cornershot is the least bondian gadget mentioned in my links. But I could easily imagine Bond and a girl being tied up by the villan and Bond telling her to get his wallet from his jacket and using the metalic credit card holder to cut off the ropes. The scene would have great oportunities for tension, humour and product placement :007)

Aptly named "The Kiss of Death," Russia's infamous former security service, the KGB, used a sleek and sexy to take out targets from extremely close range, according to the International Spy Museum in Washington, D.C. The lipstick container also held a single 4.5 mm shot – small caliber but still potentially deadly.

Not to be outdone by its Russian counterparts, the CIA dove just as deep into the extreme gadget game. Pictured here in a photo provided by the Agency is the Dragonfly, an unmanned aerial vehicle, developed in the 1970s. The tiny surveillance craft was the first "micro UAV" the size of an insect to take flight, the CIA said.

Id like to see a new version of the garrotte watch that Grant had in FRWL. Im sure it could come in handy for Bond this time around.

Not that I'd advice anyone to do it. You can sharpen the edge of a credit card
to an almost razors edge. Then keep it for when you need a sharp edge. :v
and a set of Keys can be used as a nasy Knuckle duster.

I belive Bond uses his wrist watch as knuckle dusters in the novels.

I think it was Goldfinger, But could be wrong.
Watching Bourne Yeasr ago. I pointed out
to my wife that he was going to use a magazine
as a weapon, and in another S Segal movie I pointed out
he was going to make a silencer from a coke bottle.
When she asked how I knew all this stuff, I just told
her it was from years of reading martial arts mags and
    cheap thrillers. :))
I sure many of these things wouldn't work in the real world
    But who Knows, ............................................... :v

I'd like to see them implement a Dead Drop Spike. A bit cruel, but it screams cloak and dagger.

I just hope this Q is not a total computer nerd who simply can hack in and play with cameras, lifts, traffic in a matter of secs like in other action films. I hope he is more into gadgets however judging by the footage he comes across as the above sadly rather then a weapons builder (hope I'm wrong)

I would like to see specialised ammo loads for the Walther PPK: armour piercing, incendiary, high explosive, etc. Would compensate for the low magazine capacity B-)

I would like him to get One gadget he uses more then once, (like the wrist dart gun in Moonraker). Also something big like a rocket launcher on the Aston Martin or a machine gun coming out

I would love it if Q issued Bond with an updated version of the attache case in FRWL. It should have the ability to beat x-ray, the knives don't need to be updated, perhaps hidden extra cash and a credit card, there should be clever way to smuggle the PKK through customs too. What we need is a new and clever gadget in the attache case. Any ideas?

My other idea isn't a gadget for 007, but for M. M should have a car with a glass between the passenger seat and the driver. The glass should dampen sound a lot, but there should also be an option to darken up the glass. The main feature of the glass is that it's a touchscreen. The glass can show direct footage from various cameras around the car, maps, video conferance, documents etc.
This is pretty close to what many cars offer on the touch screen on the dashboard, but this is obviously much bigger. What really makes it special is inventive use. During a raid on a terrorist hideout M can watch direct footage from SAS helmet cameras while having the building plans on the screen too. He can talk to an agent via video and the agent sends secret documents to the screen that M can browse while talking to the agent.

So basically something like the gadget-laden Rolex watch he receives from Q Branch in the film Live and Let Die which he uses three times (magnetic field twice and circular saw once) in the mission for different purposes?

Yes, or even the same feature on the gadget for different uses. A bit like the ejector seat on the AM. GF, DAD and SP uses the same feature differently.

I actually like it better if the same gadget in the same movie is used in different and inventive ways. The wristwatch in LALD is actually a pretty good example.
