Just got an email update. The new narrow silk knit and Grenadine ties favoreed by Connery are now available at Anthony Sinclair. Great work David!

I have a black grenadine from Anthony Sinclair and it's a great tie. Their grenadine ties use the same silk as Turnbull & Asser does, which is slightly heftier than the typical garza grossa grenadine found at almost every other high-end shop in London. They're 3 1/4 inches wide, so probably a bit wider than what Connery wore in most of his films, but it' a great width because they can easily be worn with narrower or standard-width lapels.

One these ties could also be worn by Q in Skyfall.

Ties look very good, but weren't Connery's ties garza fina rather than garza grossa (i.e. a tighter weave)?

No. He always wore garza grossa, mostly in navy blue with some in black, brown and grey.
