Ere Micro, why you got Horn Rimmed Glasses dude off Heroes as your AJB007 Avatar?

You been polishing ya barrel too much donk...

Nope, your AJB avatar image looks like the father of hot blonde cheer leader type babe Hayden Panettiere off Heroes.

Fantastic trailer of course, and it shows a few goodies in relation to props... but it is only a tease of what will be seen in the final film.

In comparison to recent cinematic Bond outings, gadgets and goodies are back in a big and more traditional way!

Including some real stunners that will probably become instant classics.

But that's all we are allowed to say at this time... :#

    he says with a signature mentioning spanking his monkey :)) :)) :)) :)) :))

as for the ppk/s, deact is roughly £500 in the uk, maruzen are hens teeth, leaving the only available alternative as the Umerex CO2 4.5mm BB gun, which looks a bit like the real deal but will take several steps of modification to get anywhere near looking genuine.

The last one: "Officially: No Hamilton watch appears in Quantum of Solace"

    Who'd have thought that?

I have breaking news for you guys:

OFFICIALLY NO CITIZEN WATCH APPEARS in QUANTUM AND SKYFALL.

    hows that? :D

Who hands someone a gun loaded with the safety off?

Anyway, that's a beaut - all the PPK/S models I see online don't have that lovely grip (or color) - is that all custom for the film?
  • Mister GreeneMister Greene Posts: 224MI6 Agent
i imagine the grip is a custom job, it almost loks like they've modified a crimson trace laser grip for the ppk\s would like to know what the other cutout is for

The Walther PPK/S as seen in the tralier has Pachmayr grips attached accroding to SkyFall's page at www.imfdb.org. As for the issue of Q giving Bond a loaded gun with the safety off, I would assume that Q being safety minded would likely put in the magazine and not chamber a round via pulling back the slide.
  • danjaq_0ffdanjaq_0ff The SwampsPosts: 7,283MI6 Agent
    Im not sure what the grips started out as, but they where customised or custom made at Pinewood -{

I've had a look into it, the pachmayr grips claim is totally incorrect. The Q branch grip is nothing like the pachmayr ones. Danjaq hits the nail yet again, its a custom job made by the props team.

The same article also claims that the P99 is used (which is still unconfirmed) and that the unknown sniper rifle is used by Bond, which is clearly isn't.

My thoughts - don't believe everything you read on the internet, its full of 'experts' :s

I think the ppk/s looks terrible, like they cut the bottom off of a glock and glued it on. It adds too much bulk to the weapon, he might as well carry a glock or something more powerful instead. I believe the trailer gave away too much information.

you saying you don't like the ppk/s, or the custom grips?
