i've been blogging about the 007 films individually on my movie blog after receiving the Bond 50 Blu Ray set. I'm through For Your Eyes Only and all earlier entries can be found on the site:
Why is TB so high on peoples list, I feel like it's dated, there is no sense of emergency and the water battle awful. Saved by hot girls and Connery at his best.

You mostly answered it right here.
Plus, I'm a sucker for underwater stuff.

Welcome to AJB!
Hopefully you stay long in this great forum. Your list is very interesting to say the least. Nice to see Diamonds are Forever, having some appreciation. Though For your, eyes only is my favourite Bond movie so what's it doing on no.2 in your bad list?

My Parents took me to see Diamonds are forever when I was very young, and every time a new one came out up to Moonraker it was an event to see the new Bond Movie, but I was so disappointed with Moonraker that I lost interest in Bond films, and didn't see another one until Casino Royale in 2006, that my interest was rekindled and thanks to Sky's 007 channel I was able to catch up on all the ones I have missed in between, ( I have still yet to see Octopussy, Licence to kill and Never say Never again all the way through) and I think because Veiw to a kill and Moonraker are so bad, I don't rate Moore as a great Bond , and my opinion of his films is tainted apart from Live and Let die, and The Spy Who loved me, but I think the production and script at that time was not as good as earlier films, and I think the last 2 of Rogers and TImothy's 2 films is the low point of the series, Goldeneye was a massive improvement, but then tomorrow never dies the quality started to Slip again, I hope they keep the current momentum going,as the relaunch with Mr Craig are fantastic

You seem like a likeable chap, I'll pretend I did not read that bit.
Welcome!
To be fair I have only properly seen The living Daylights and I think it is fair and I like Daltons Bond over Moore's and Half an hour of licence to kill which looks poorly shot, poorly scripted and I have not read good review of it but I should watch it all, I do intend getting the blue ray Boxed set at some stage with Never say never again and 1967 Casino Royale, which I actually quite like
