Yup, I dont think there are many left now which will ship straight away.

I would be tempted to try the next size down however dont fancy being charged for a pre-order 2-3 months in advance!!

Hi all, fairly new to the site but had a thought on the "Lodge" jacket situation.

With so many of us awaiting November, December and January deliveries and with many of us unsure of which size is the best for us, is there an argument for a " exchange " thread ?

This would be a place where fellow AJB's can swap their jackets if they need a different size when the delivery arrives. If people then get the wrong size, they can list on the "exchange" thread and wait for a suitable correct one to appear.

It would also allow people to get the right jacket at the same or similar price without having to go through ebay etc and deal with the philistines charging ridiculously over inflated prices. In some situations it could be just as simple as a straight swap.

I am a casing point, I am 6ft, 175lbs and 39 chest, so slightly at odds whether a tight medium or a baggy large is best. I have ordered a large and its expected in late November delivery.

    What do people think ?

By the way great site :)

    cheers

    Agree

I have an xl, fits well but could be tighter to be a SA fit

Havent worn it yet as contemplating shortening the sleeves by 1.5 inches, removing hood zipper, button insert for chest flap and a tuck of 1-2 inches on chest

Or swap for a large ?

Anyone interested in an xl but with a L unworn, happy to try. Havent tried on a L but think it would be fine

really disappointing that so many are buying / preventing true fans in order to profiteer as well. Each to their own tho I guess

Just got a call from my CC company, and sounds like after the cultizm purchase, my card was compromised. They tried a transaction at real.com, then $350 at some eweb banner site or something, originating out of the UK. Anyone else ever had this problem. And also heads up to anyone that may have ordered from them if there is an issue with their payment processing systems. I know they are a legit site, but the payment processing could have a problem.

I got a call from my Bank wondering if I made the transaction but other than that Ive had no problems. It was processed through DMI International or something like that. But the charge went through and I got an order confirmation. However now the cultizim site does not seem to be working so...

    Im in the US btw.

I'm in Canada. It's strange though, could be a coincidence. I did get a call from my cc as well for the actual purchase, which I figured I would since it came from Europe. Either way, just wanted to get the word out, in case there are any issues people are experiencing. I just hope people don't take this as bash against Culitzm, because it is not at all.

Now, I can't wait to receive this jacket. Can't come soon enough, and I'm glad I got it a good price compared to whats going on with ebay, and the price they charge for this in Canada and the US. It's cheaper to import!

Yeh I had the same problem, but my transaction was initially declined, and had to call my back as they rejected it, has anyone used them previously

I had an order cancelled with Jades24- a German website. My payment had initially been accepted, then 7 days later they declined it saying that my billing address had not been accepted by some German credit company!

Very bizarre! Got from Italy in the end.

Try and get your jacket from the UK if possible.

Yeh, my payment declined first then got a call from my cc company asking if I was trying to buy something from a German site, said its just a fraud precaution phone call.
The site was found via Barbour official Facebook page so no doubt its legit. Just worries me that their website still allows you to buy any size after emailing me Wednesday night saying only 2 large left??? Will not be a happy chappy if come Feb I don't receive it.

Mine arrived today. My god, whoever agreed the sizes should be fired! My Large feels like a Small and I'm a 42.5 chest. Back to the shop you go... P.S. the arms are also way too long.

I think the reason for the sizing may have cropped up earlier in this post, but its to do with the fact that it is a Japanese collaboration and as such the sizes reflect that of the East Asian population.

I was in Tokyo a few years ago and had a mare in the department stores as all the sizes were out of sync with that of the west.

My card issuer also called me and declined the transaction.

Jacket in medium ordered! I'm 5'10 155lb, let's hope it fits snug.

Don't want to start a new post somewhere else; does anyone know if the N. Peal sweater fits tight? Small is 36-38, Medium is 40-42. I had to return my Bobby sweater (XS 36-38) for a (S 38-40) so I want to try to avoid getting a wrong size!

    Thanks! -{

The N.Peal is a relatively relaxed fit, I would go for a Small, If I was you.

A question to the lucky owners of the lodge jacket, if you had to describe the colour of the jacket what would it be ? it's difficult to tell from photo's some times it looks very dark nearly brown and in others it looks light olive and in others it seem to have a rust colour to it.

I have sent them an email and they have said they have managed to secure some more, I asked if they 100% guaranteed they would get that stock in and they are saying yes, also remember that when you register with them you get 10% off your first order

I'd say dark olive, as there's a few on eBay now, you could checkout some of the close up pictures.
