I've been following this lodge jacket threads but I'm trying to narrow down the best size. I'm 6'3", about 210lbs, 42 chest, 16 1/2-35 shirt, 34 waist. I remembered seeing some guys who are slightly bigger than me fitting into XXL's but it just boggles me to need a jacket that big. If anyone can chime in and help me I'd appreciate it.
Unfortunately I can't afford to get in on the pre-orders now so I'm praying that I can find one in late January/early February. I know it may be a longshot but if anyone would be willing to pre-order one for me from Kafka I'd be extremely grateful.
Good evening... Anyone in the east anglia area and have a medium they feel might be too small?
I have just taken delivery of a large and first impressions are I would never get into a medium, however the more I look at the jacket it feels quite roomy!
My biggest concern is the shoulders/under arms... I'm by no means a rugby player but that said I've never found anything 'slim fitting' that does the name justice!
I'm a short a*** compared to most posts I've read... 5' 8" and a 40" chest, 34 waist...
Like unsaid the large feels snug around the shoulders and arms, but I want to try a medium to put my mind at rest... The shower and timber dryer combo gave a great result for another member earlier on in this thread, i just don't have the balls to try just yet, even though the arms are about 1/2" too long!
Best go before I sound too much like an old woman! Cheers
I have an XL in hand from original stock 4 months ago, and have a L on pre-order (just to check as XL feels a bit too loose for SA fit). Will be happy to sell XL when L arrives and is ok .....
Is anyone selling the jacket in a medium? I'm trying to purchase it but live in the US so it has been difficult to find a supplier. Please send me a private message if you are selling it with the price!

have you tried Kafka.com ? I ordered one earlier this week.
I am a 42R in all suits with a 34-36 waist depending on fit. XL is good fit for normal wear but just too big for me if after SA fit. Shoulders will be tight on L im sure as fairly athletic build. But we'll see ???
Ideally would like to find someone with a L who needs XL and then we can meet up, try on respectives and see
Otherwise will wait for L to arrive in Feb and then sell the one that doesnt fit. Doing me in tho as not wearing my XL to keep it as new in ther meantime......
Woohoo! I just scored the last Large available on End Clothing! I'm over the moon right now, especially given that the J. Crew in Toronto was selling it for $830!
kafka now has them back up again in all sizes (they seem to get a lot of these for preorder)
30% discount if you are outside EU (20% VAT and 10% use their new customer discount code)
This is Kafka's third pre order on these items from my recollection. They appear to have been blessed with what seems a virtual endless supply when other retailers have none. My local Barbour retailer cant even get a single piece! So I wonder why these guys are so fortunate in forward orders?

Thanks for the heads up. What are your measurements that the XL was a little too loose?

Sign up for account first and then check your email for the code.
Sounds like VAT has already been taken off, you just need the 10% voucher code from your email
