The buttoning is the 3 button equally spaced, rather than how it should look when it was originally distributed last year.

Yes, but I'm wondering if some vendors received the stock with the issues, while others that may not have gotten their stock yet may not have the problem (I'm hoping the Cultizm stock doesn't have this issue, I believe some people have gotten theirs, and they are ok from other vendors of recent).

I'm wondering if they tweeked the design in order to not pay royalties to Tokihito the original designer. It's still not on as the retailers are advertising (or were) with the correct buttoning.

I would say / guess its prob just an oversight, easy to do and I dont beleive they intended to do a re-run. Prob assumed the buttons should be equal

Kafka xxl jacket pre-order jacket arrived today. It is absolutely perfect. Fit is a little tighter than I had hoped for but it is still looser than screen accurate so I can live with it. Plus I can afford to loose a few pounds anyway so it is just a little more incentive.
Jacket is fantastic quality as expected. Button placement is correct to boot. I will have this for a long time to come.

Pit to pit 25"
Shoulder 19"

Interesting. Did you have to ship back to the vendor you bought from or to Barbour? How much of a hassle was it to get to that point. I'm worried that mine will come with the issue, and I'll have to follow the same boat as you.
Actually a great questions, since a ton of us are buying overseas ("The Colonies"), I hope you can send it to Barbour US and be done with it. Certainly dont want to pay shipping both ways across the pond, and import fees on top of that.

I just sent the email to Barbour customer services and then sent them about twenty photos of correct and incorrect ones. I'll let you know what I get back in the next couple of days

Update from Cultizm, they wont be delivered by the weekend as their still waiting for a few more sizes to be delivered.
