Thats the other jacket, the commander. The stock one I think is 100 or less. I think it looks awesome, i really do and so close, besides it is prob more original there must be literally thousands walking around in teal jumpers and the tokito (minus the hood). if you want to give it a similar finnish use the barbour thornproof. here it is

Anyway, I'm sort of stunned that they're advertising it as the Skyfall jacket, charging over $700 for it, AND the link says it's a pre-order for September 2013! Unbelievable.

Interestingly, in Aspecto's announcement of a further pre-order batch (still waiting for it to go live, BTW), they mention that what they're going to offer is "the last quantity before Winter 2013", which implies that there will be more to come next season.
Barbour should do both: make more of the exact To Ki To Sports Jackets and make some special edition that looks closer to what DC's looked like in the film. Then people can buy one or both and everyone can be happy, especially Barbour.
Would anyone have size measurements for a size S from a recent goodstead batch if anyone received one.
I received my size M early November pre-order from goodstead yesterday. It appears the buttons are fairly evenly placed as opposed to the bottom one being higher as I expected.
The measurements are pit-to-pit 20.5 in, shoulder 17.6 in.
Would be interested in a size S if the measurements are not hugely smaller than those.

If you screw your eyes up until they go blurred, its the same colour as the Skyfall jacket, but that's about it!
People are removing buttons to make their coats look SA, that's got more buttons than a remote control!

I tell you what though, two things first there is no way in hell Craig wore an M. This must be one of the strangest sized jackets ever. There is a huge inconsistency in them. I don't think any of them are perfectly sized and that tailoring must be done in every case to achieve that fitted look.
I emailed Cultizm asking about delivery and the buttons yesterday, and haven't heard back yet. Hopefully something will come through soon. I'm dying to get this thing. Waiting is hard, but worth it haha
What's with the UK only deal? It seems so suspicious to me? No other vendors seem to have any such limitations? I guess I could see Barbour stipulating this since they are clearly re-stocking various vendors in both Europe and the US (including JCrew as I recently found out! Although they seem to have pre-sold them all). Maybe Barbour is trying to control distribution somehow? Who knows.

I emailed Jane a couple of weeks ago but couldn't get on the Aspecto list. She told me they have over 200 names with only 123 jackets on order for late February/early March.

I recall reading some language on their site that non-UK orders will be rejected or cancelled before shipment or something, and it says "DUE TO DISTRIBUTION REGULATIONS WE CAN ONLY SELL THIS PRODUCT WITHIN THE UNITED KINGDOM" on the order page, but the worst that can happen is that they cancel the charge and who knows, maybe they'll ship it. I just signed into my account every thing is as it should be order and price, then when I hit status it says a different final price of ￡431.00
At this point I haven't been notified or charged any extra for VAT, so I wrote Customer service to ask about the discrepancy. We'll see!
Heard back from Cultizm. They have no more info on what the jacket is like button wise, and they said they are still awaiting delivery. Didn't provide me any more info than that. Hopefully it's soon.
Got an XL from Aspecto today. Buttons not SA! Got a Large coming on Monday, from a different order. I already have an XL from last October which is SA. Just wanted to try a size down. Fingers crossed!

I'm 5ft 11" 38 chest, 32 waist and went with a Medium.
Pics below are worn with just a white t-shirt in two, and a blue merino wool jumper (fairly thin) in one.
Not the real thing, but an authentic Barbour alternative.
