Nice! I've got the eating and drinking like Bond thing down, need to offset it. :#

I'm not sure what Craig's measurements are, but honestly, the fit of your BR peacoat isn't the same as his. You both wore medium, but his is a lot more fitted than yours is. You've got a lot more space in the torso and a lot of shoulder over-hang on your peacoat...almost like you could stand to size down and possibly let out a small. He probably weighs more than you do, but even if he doesn't, you definitely don't have the same build/shape.

There's a lot more to it then height and weight.

I'm afraid Vinny is right. And from your photos it seems you are a lot younger than Craig so build/shape difference is hardly surprising.

Agreed. A pound of muscle takes up (on average) one third the size of a pound of fat. So two men could be the same height and weight but what that weight is made of changes their sizes considerably. I seen men who are my exact height and weight who are a bit smaller than me, and guys my same height and weight who are much bigger than me.

To make it even more confusing, here are a couple of terrible pics of me wearing my size Small Barbour. For reference, I'm 5'8-3/4", 165 pounds, with a 42" chest, 46-1/2" shoulders, and 32" waist.

As you can see it's snug but I'm hardly about to rip it apart at the seams...

First, I NEVER claimed to have the same body as craig in Skyfall. He and I were roughly the same size in C&A (again, he had more muscle where Im leaner, a runner) but skyfall he has about 20lbs on me in terms of pure muscle.

I also understand sizing between different garments is not analogous but when you have measurements of two seperate garments that can be compared against a third (the Levis LVC, and the BR against Barbour) its not like im throwing sticks at the wind...

I agree my peacoat is less fitted because my body is smaller than his. He works out, was around 180lbd for skyfall and Im around 160 so that makes sense there. Im sure I will also have room in my barbour medium (and the fit will be roughly the same) which I guess I will have to prove to everyone once it gets here. My money is on med but I could be wrong. With my frame, i could probably fit into a small but a medium will look right with layers. Craig's sweater had the arms cut off so...

Cant really back up my assertions until my barbour actually gets here but the whole reason I started this little debate on sizing is because people tend to state outright that Craig wore a large and thats an SA size when we have contradictory evidence.

As for my self, if my med gets here and fits with a little more room does than Craigs with the same layering, then a medium is definitely a closer probability. But im also not ignoring the fact that my med can arrive and I can be able to barely button it with nothing but a thin t under it.

At least we all agree its not a Small... :))

Not too sure what your point was positing a picture of me like that and then Craig....

Not to derail, but if there's a quick link to your fitness regimen I'd like to have a look!

Just a quick note, I work part-time as a personal trainer and people are always asking me about specific workout routines. The most important thing to realize about any routine is that what works for one person will not work the same for another unless they have exactly the same genetics (and starting points, and goals, and diets...you get the idea).

You have no idea how many people have asked me for "the" Daniel Craig workout routine over the years. In addition to the above, his routine will change as his body progresses. How does his trainer know which exercises to change to the next week? He doesn't. Not until he sees how Craig's body has adapted to the previous exercises (are his medial delts progressing as much as his anterior? Maybe better try a Scott press instead of the Arnold presses we were planning). This is why choosing a random exercise program, although better than nothing, is not a sure thing for the results that people are really capable of achieving.

Sorry to be a butt-in-sky, I just wanted to set expectations that exercise routines must be very personalized. Lots of people get discouraged when they don't get the results they wanted from someone else's routine (usually celebrities'). In almost every case it's nothing to do with their genetics or how hard they work, it's just that there are too many variables not taken into account. Of course the flip side to that is that the vast majority of people are able to get in to pretty much exactly the shape they want with the proper programming and the willpower to follow it.

I hear you, but who cares about the SA size? I've seen a lot of people say, "I'm the same height and weight as DC, so I must wear the same size that he does." When they get it, it's off by a size. It seemed like you were going down that road. When you factor in the body composition differences and the fact that his clothes are adjusted for him, the size that he wears really isn't too important.

I, for one, thought that comparison was funny, but I already knew that Mantis had been hitting the gym since then. I'm lol-ing at it as I type.

While AJB had always seemed to be full of Daniel Craig build-alikes ("I have the same build as Daniel Craig". "No, I have the same build as Daniel Craig!". "No! I have the same build as Daniel Craig.") at least DZ has the courage to post his routine and photos, for all the brick-bats it might bring.

    So until the youth of AJB start putting out equivalent photos of themselves - and come on, how many of you REALLY are 'muscular with broad shoulders and a narrow waist'? - kudos to DZ. -{

And no covering of faces on those photos, now!

I feel that in the process of trying to prove a point about the jacket, I have hit a nerve here. In my defence I did write no offence to Mantis above the photo. Never imagined it would have hurt his feelings and he would have made a collage of new pics. DZ if your reading this I am sorry and didn't mean to cause upset. You know I'm a fan. As for David Schofield....that sounds like you trying to get more boys to post pics with their shirts off...pervert! :))

    Absolutely.

And, for what it's worth, in my opinion, I'm pretty such DC wears a Large Barbour.

But if your size is bigger or smaller than that, it's an irrelevance anyway. Just buy the size that fits YOU!

My large arrived from Aspecto today & its a touch too small for me (I am far from pretending I have a DC physique!!!) It looks the mutts nutts & the buttons are in line with the pockets I believe.

I am about to post on eBay however thought if any one here was interested please feel free to PM me & we can discuss.
