They do ship to the US and they take the VAT off. But they ship with DHL, so there might be an import fee on delivery. But it's still cheaper than ebay or any US retailer, I think, even with those charges.

So I was unlucky enough to receive a jacket with the incorrect buttons... I called Barbour and they picked up my jacket from my home and a replacement is being delivered next week with the correct buttons, yay!
Whilst talking to Barbour they confirmed:
- All these jackets are made in Bulgaria.
- The commando jacket, tailored to the alterations made in the movie will be released this Autumn.
So if you have a bodged jacket, give them a call directly!
Anybody know if Kafka are shipping with correct jacket (button placement)
I was wondering if you'd received your XL yet.
We're similar sizes (43/44 chest, 6ft, 36w) and I have an XL but always wondered about a Large. The XL fits great on the shoulders, chest and back, but fuller on the waist. Got my hands on a Large, but where it was great on the waist, It was WAY too tight on the shoulders and back. I moved like the tin man! Luckily I was able to pass it on to another member.
Good luck with the XL (and the buttons), hope it fits truer than you XXL!
P.S. Could you tell me what's the diameter of your rolex watch face? 40mm?
Still waiting for the XL to turn up - taking forever!!
I think the waist area prob needs to be taken in a bit maybe for us!?
The Submariner is 40mm however the current model (ceramic) has enlarged lugs compared to previous models hence believe looks a bit chunkier on the wrist compared to past gens
Ps - highly reccommend the Rolex Forum for all things Rolex (wealth of info there)

Cheers, I'd tried on the sub but was unsure about it's size (wasn't helped by just removing the Planet Ocean). Will have a look at the ceramic version.
Hello. Only just found this site after a couple weeks of searching for one of these jackets. Any chance there are still some available somewhere? I've checked all the recently posted links, and have found nothing. Think I might be a medium, but my real chest measurement is about 41 inches, so would need a real 41-42 jacket.
Great pics you guys have there. Hope you enjoy your jackets. Thanks in advance for any possible help.

First of all: welcome to the forum! There will likely be a screen acurate re-issue of this jacket, called the "commando jacket" later this year, so if you don't get it now there's probably another chance. I would however recommend that you contact the barbor sales clerk for your region to see if there are more available. You can find the contact details on the barbour website.
Hello, I found this site through the RPF a while ago. It has been very helpful towards locating one of these jackets. I preordered from Kafka in late November. Just received my jacket Wednesday. I was very excited until I saw that the button placement was wrong(not SA). Although I had ordered a medium, and the fit is great. I am 5 ft 10 in. around 1 70 lbs, with a lean muscular build. (not a body builder!)
So far I contacted Barbour US and they said that they do not have any stock with the original button stance. I was told that the re-issue had been modified for movie specifications, which I thought was strange because Craig doesn't wear a jacket with evenly spaced buttons. To me this seems like false advertising. i am still waiting for a reply from Kafka and Barbour UK. If anyone finds a medium with SA buttons it would be appreciated! I like how everyone helps each other out here like the RPF.

Thats strange. Mine arrived from Kafka yesterday also in size medium. I measured the spacing of the buttons out to a fellow members previous post on the subject and they were identical to his SA version. It has the reference 11/12 on one of the pocket tabs

Yeah, mine has a tag on the inside pocket with 11/12 on it too. It does not have any tag that says made in Bulgaria above the Barbour crest. I guess i just got to be one of the unlucky ones. I know someone was able to call and get theirs exchanged, hopefully it is not too late for me.
I was lucky enough to receive my Barbour jacket from End Clothing yesterday. I pre-ordered it back on December 10th. It only took 2 days to get from the UK to Canada by Fed-Ex, although I got a hefty $200 customs & tax fee, which really sucks. But at least I finally have my awesome Skyfall jacket! I'm 5'11" and a 38R suit size, and I went with a Large. My usual clothing size is Medium, but the shoulders on the Large jacket fit me perfectly, although the body is loose. I guess that's just the way it was designed to fit. My jacket does not have any "Made in Bulgaria" tag that I can find, and it also has the the non-SA, equally spaced buttons, but that doesn't bother me at all. I'll post some fits pics later, but for now here's a pic of the jacket itself:
its hard to tell in your pic but arn't your buttons SA? The buttom bottom lines up with the INNER pocket line, not the outer one if that makes any sense.
So I wonder how much the AW13 jacket made to look like the SA version is going to cost.... and will we be able to pre-order them from all the same retailers like Stuarts and Kafka and End, etc.???

should be interesting. Im glad I got mine from the "original run" I guess. Even though the newer version will probably look closer to Bonds, the original jackets will have a better pedigree. just imho though

Thanks, anyone have a voucher?
EDIT: 680 USD plus import fees.
I'll give you a poke in the eye for it!
The end is in sight!

Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!

Mine arrived yesterday from kafka by Royal Mail. Yes the buttons appear correct
Did you receive a notice to say it had been dispatched or did it merely arrive?

So it is not the current commander that is available now.
Thanks (Bows) )
Just turned up via parcel force

Yeah for some reason they keep referring to this new jacket as the commando, yet there is a jacket already with that name.
Whatever the name, there is a jacket coming out in the autumn based on the alterations seen in the film.
