Sorry but daniel craig for me has ruined the series as bond
DC and Casino Royale saved the series in my opinion and gave it a good kick up the arse from its stale state I think the fuss and acclaim Casino Royale produced sort of proves it was a good decision!
The 5 least popular seem to be (in no particular order) AVTAK, DAD, TMWTGG, DAF, and MR....
I really like AVTAK, DAF, and TMWTGG.... They may have their flaws, but at least they don't contain either horrible CGI or ridiculous laser battles in space.

For me DAD has the edege on AVTAK as a better movie althought both are poor. (MR is the worst by a mile and then DAF).
The reason I prefer DAD is PB. Rog was far to old in AVTAK. After watching the fight in Stacey's house I though they should have given his stunt double equal billing. When he was with Tanya Roberts he looked like an ageing lounge lizard with his trophy wife. When the lead actor looks tired the whole movie looks tired.
Pierce Brosnan still looked the part and was convincing in the action scenes. For me that gives DAD the edge. Wasn't a lot else to recommend it.
The only good thing about both movies is that they forced a rethink among the producers and ushered in a more realistic Bond played by tougher looking actors. TLD and CR are two of my favourite Bond movies.

Agreed. Neither are good, but at least DAD has a convincing Bond and a really promising first half. AVTAK in my view has neither and is an embarrassment. In DAD whilst elements of the film are embarrassing (terrible CGI, ivisable car ...) the central performance is not.

I also enjoy A View To A Kill, i think Walken is a great villain, i like the locations, particularly at ascot, also the closing scene on the golden gate bridge, i havent seen DAD since not long after its release so willl rewatch in the next few weeks as i now have the DVD, but didnt think it was that good.
Some further support for AVTAK here. Zorin is also one of my fave villains, love the PTS and theme, Eiffel tower skydive, Ascot / Zorin's stables, Mine / Golden Gate bridge ending. Mayday is certainly a memorable villain / bond girl. I think as I watched this (and MR) a lot as a kid they have special place in my heart . IMO DAD doesn't some close.

I really like AVTAK and aside from the aging Moore, I don't think there is anything too bad about it. I think Zorin is a fantastic villain, there are some magnificent action sequences and The fight atop the Golden Gate bridge is magnificent.
Meanwhile DAD is just horrendous. It has a good start but then turns terrible pretty quickly.
