Due to the inconsistent nature of the following Bond scenes....

viewer discretion is advised. :007)

In TND, the smile Bond displays as his rental car is 'returned' clashes with his recent emotional state regarding Paris' death.

In LTK, Felix's jovial phone call at the end seems to effectively nullify his grief at his Wife's demise mere days before.

In DAD, Bond's ability to survive freezing water temperatures without any resultant hint of hypothermia challenges medically accepted human standards.

In MR, Jaws switching to the 'good' side is just freaking STUPID. :))

Any additions to this list?
Dalton & Connery rule. Brozz was cool.

I just wanted to chime in that Felix's upbeat demeanor at the end of LTK always bothered me a great deal. LTK is one of my favorite Bond films, but that scene was just awful and made no sense. Maybe Leiter had snapped due to the emotional strain and had slipped into some sort of madness.

Of course, 007 didn't seem too shook up over Tracy's death in DAF, either.

I can only fathom it was a reaction to the pain medication... after having my wisdom teeth pulled, oxycontin made life seem rather exceptionally grand... :))
And, it's one of my favourites now as well. LTK that is, not the drug. :p

About DAD: it's difficult to see, but Pierce Brosnan is wearing a simulated dry suit, when he enters the water you can see the inlet valve on the chest and an exhaust valve on the left lower arm, when he comes out he takes off his gloves and the upper portion of the suit (I suppose the pants are the lower portion of the suit). They're even talking about it on the DVD commentary. You probably would not want to do it like this (without, cap, mask, fins, some weights), but it's not entirely implausible.
And he's only in the water for a few minutes. I have seen people making an ice dive in a wetsuit, after the dive they took off their suits and jumped in again wearing only bathing suits, not something for everyone (I've been under the ice a few times, but only in dry suits), but again, it can be done.

Hmmm, okay, then I'll go with the impossibly invisible car thing. :D

Taking Halle Berry out of the cold water and rushing her into a hot tub would probably kill her. It's like taking your cat locked in the fridge and bunging it in the microwave for a few minutes.

I think both Bond and the Chinese agent would get the bends, heading out to the surface so quick after their deep sea diving.

Biggest offender in my view, for sure. I read somewhere that this scene was shot out of sequence and that David Hedison was not told of the context -- i.e., that he was only a few days removed from becoming a widower on his wedding day. Bad error by John Glen and crew.

I could never understand Nick Nack's change in demeanor at the end of TMWTGG. For 95% of the film, he is slightly bemused and above it all -- one gets the sense he doesn't really care who wins the final duel, so long as the fight amuses him. Then, at the very end, he is suddenly full of vengeful fury, as if Scaramanga was his lover or something. Ah well, maybe he was just upset that Bond blew up the island he was set to inherit.

In THE SPY WHO LOVED ME Stromberg's submarines are reprogrammed to nuke each other. Hoorah, the world is safe. Or is it? Surely such mammoth explosions would not only cause huge tsunamis but also contaminate marine life, etc for years to come. Oh well, at least Stromberg shoots his bolt...

And yes, dear old Felix does seem very upbeat considering losing limbs to a shark & Della to Dario & co.
